I honestly stopped watching anime once I hit over 1,000 series seen like two years ago.

99% of the time it's usually based on a manga or game or something. I'd rather just deal with the original.

People in /jp/ aren't vehemently opposed to anime as something you watch and enjoy, a lot of them do, or don't care. Similarly, people on /jp/ probably aren't vehemently opposed to ordinary vidya, or hell, sports - at best, they don't care, just like they don't care about idol threads. The problem is that talking about any of these things inside /jp/ will inevitably attract people from the /a/v/sp/ here, and that's more or less completely intolerable.

I don't know why people love this so much. It was pretty meh for me. Besides the last episode, that was fucking awesome.

Also, the ending was kind of crappy. Total cocktease with Misaki in early episodes then just NOTHING.

I'm trying my best to watch and enjoy some stuff from this season but it seems I can't into anime as well as when I was younger.

Exactly this. I love VNs, also soccer and anime to a smaller extent. I go on /sp/ doing big games but I would hate if even 1% of that shithole came here. /jp/ is really unique in that the pure userbase (people who use /jp/ as their main board) is very small, even as an anon I get called out in threads such as "Where is that one dude who always posts his mouse pad in kira kira threads." Everyone knows how everyone works, this board "gels" much better then many other boards when it isn't getting spammed and is filled with regulars. Others have noticed how well this board runs itself, so they spam the fuck out of it to get their epenis feeling hard. But some random janitor(s) loves how this board just as much as we do and the spam/meta threads tend to get deleted regularly and the "off topic" threads that have been here since Japan/general (Idols, Mahjong, kigu, whatever) are well known by the community and the janitor, so they are kept alive and accepted by everyone else. It is nice and I wouldn't want more people who don't (care) to understand come here and post garbage because all that does is delete decent threads and give our janitor more work.
Even cute little tidbits like white rens trip, Derek, sion, are all part of the community that everyone can make fun off/play with but someone who just got here wouldn't understand and normally when the "average" /a/, /b/, /v/ whatever person doesn't understand something, they just post something random and say "Lol I troll you!" and then leave. That's why we have shitty threads like this one and all those squid and railgun threads.

I just picked up Soredemo, only because of SHAFT.

I watched three episodes of Ore no Imouto, and am having trouble watching any more of it.

I only watch Panty and Stocking when I'm tired and late at night, which seems to be the only time it can make me laugh.

The last series that I really loved was Strike Witches S2 (primarily for lolWWIIreferences). Before that, I was in the process of losing interest. Now, my lack of interest seems to be continuing. Maria+Holic 2 is the only series I'm anticipating in the near future.

Gonzo was kind of notorious for its low budget CGI in earlier series. It was pretty minimal in Strike Witches S1, but still there.

I had mixed feelings about its use in S2. Without it, we wouldn't have gotten a scene as awesomely detailed as this.

Gonzo didn't go overboard. In season 2 there are CGI witches whenever there's an opportunity to be and it's glaringly obvious. The big Sanya episode was just laughable because of all the cgi.
