Helen since you're the local expert on Oni. What code of justice do they follow? I've heard things about the Oni never using surprise tactics and always wanting to give the adversary a fair fight. Thus why Yuugi might be so confused and frightened in this doujin, not being used to sneak strategies.

Touhou oni go by the "honourable" way, preferring a fair fight - perhaps not outright announcing their intent to attack or issuing a formal challenge, but in the very least giving the opponent a fighting chance.
Should be noted though that Touhou oni also have a different idea of a "fair" fight than humans. For example oni see nothing wrong with challenging ordinary humans to a test of strength or similar, which humans have no chance of winning without cheating.
Ironically that ill habit probably contributed to the human tendency to cheat, which eventually led the oni into self-exile.

In general myth outside of Touhou, though, it's variable. Oni are generally honourable, but a good deal of oni are either warbands and raid human settlements, or are local menaces that kill randomly without rhyme or reason.

A possible origin for the myth, the latter case resembles the usual pattern of bear attacks in Japan.

Bridge trolls may be underestimated. Especially the Parsee-type bridge troll, since 20-something threads later it still doesn't seem to have been deducted exactly what kind of hashihime she's supposed to be.

Or due to the fact that she's cooking and had to quickly answer the door, which meant she had to untie her apron which gets caught in all the fur and she has to be careful to not spin around too fast in a small kitchen and catch her tails in the burner on the stove and catch herself on fire.

That artist's Ran is so cute. I'm kind of glad she didn't end up partaking in the orgy, but it's sad she probably had to scrub the upstairs floor and clean up after it.

I wouldn't mind him seeing a Ran x Yukari doujin as long as it was a loving one and not about rape.
