But at the end of the day lonelyness still kicks in.

Being luckier than 99% of people means 1 in 100 people are as lucky if not luckier than you. How many people do you see a day? If you are a normalfag in a major city, probably more than 100. Do you want one of those random fucks on the street to be better than you? Of course not. You shouldn't be satisfied unless you are the absolute number 1 and the number 2 would be a fool to challenge you.

They probably counted all preschool children into that.

If you have not experienced a single bit of that, you don't know what it is to be human.

Probably the amount of people that can't/don't read roman characters. And of course probably those that can't read English. But then again, illiteracy IS actually higher than you think. Hell, there's 300.000 semi-illiterates and 100.000 illiterates in my country, which isn't lowtier bullshit country either.

I have aids and live in a socialist nation. Now what?

What I find most comforting is that a least I'm not a faggot who thinks that mixing a bunch of random fonts and font sizes, and adding a bunch of random symbols and effects, makes it easier to convince people that there is no such thing as depression in the middle class of first world countries.

I'll think you'll find statistically if you did a study about it that it does help convince people. Most people.

Fucking bums on the street probably get more money than me with their government payments plus the small change I feel compelled to give them when they ask so they won't stab me.

Somehow, I think there's more people than that who don't speak English.

You've no idea how bad the literacy problem is, especially functional literacy (technically, as pointed out above, this isn't entirely about literacy, but very much related)...

In case of US, a so-called "developed country":

>50 percent of adults cannot read a book written at an eighth grade level.
>20 percent of Americans are functionally illiterate and read below a 5th grade level.

Now, some portion of those are people that simply aren't native English speakers, mentally disabled, etc., but the fact remains - you have to deal with them.

Too lazy to find the original reports, but here are some links:

http://nces.ed.gov/naal/kf_demographics.asp

http://education-portal.com/articles/Illiteracy:_The_Downfall_of_American_Society.html

Now, the question is, what level would /jp/ copypasta considered to be....
