GUWANGE is out now on XBLA for 800 points. Has 3 modes, arcade, "Blue Arrange" that was featured at a CAVE Matsuri and a 360 Arrange mode.

Classic game and so far the port seems top notch. Go and get it. It's a worldwide release and if it does well it's safe to assume there will be more ports.

In other news, DoDonPachi DFK is out on the 25th of this month and the next iDevice game is out on the 18th (if memory serves correctly).

The US got Deathsmiles this year and Europe gets it next year. The company bringing DS over in Europe apparently signed a partnership type thing with Cave so you can probably expect DFK too. I'd rather buy a retail release than an XBLA release in any case. MushiFutari platinum just came out and it is region free for $35. If you don't buy the shit they release with international intentions, why would they continue to do it?

From what I heard the region free releases sold well. Maybe not well enough to justify continue doing it, but then what so you want in your situation? A "failure" they should repeat with all future releases so you can then get them as they are released in Japan? STGs are extremely niche genre pretty much everyhere.

As for DFK, it is a rumor but it wouldn't surprise me. People are highly anticipating the port.

I don't really give a fuck anyway since I have a j360.

And yeah, Dangun port is in the works but the hardware in undecided.

As for the Guwange port it is great. Blue Arrange is pretty killer.

Also, you could look into the Ketsui dump for FBA on pc. I forget the details specifically but there are threads at the sys11 shmups forum with news on the rom, a few screens etc.

So I bought this today, and I used like 20 continues just to clear arcade mode. I just can't control that demon and still watch my own character at the same time.

But when I found out about 360 Arrange mode...
