I've been thinking of getting a dollfie or something similar for a long time, but it's a big step. These threads slowly wear my resistance down.

The problem I have is that there are not enough clothes that look good that I want to buy so I rarely take any new photos. I figure no one wants to see more poses of the same clothes.

Well, there are some exceptions. Federal, state and private loans exist to help people out with tuition, and many colleges will give grants to students with strong academic records, particularly if they show a need for it. But nobody goes to college for free just because they're poor.

Dollie hair so uncontrollable.

I just took Sera out of the box and started combing the hair straight (the packaging left it in a weird condition).

For some reason, whilst combing, a massive electric surge jostled through my body and thusly through the metal comb. A few seconds later Sera's hair turns into tentacles and starts trying to feel around at me... damn static electricity.

Thinking of using some wig foam to tame the hair but apparently spritzed water will do?

I raised the saturation in the image to make it more visible.

Stains seem to be due to the bright magenta dress she was wearing but I tested the dress on a hidden part and it didn't leave any stains. As a precaution I soaked the dress in vinegar and water before putting it in the washing machine. Strangely no excess dye seemed to come out... so I'm wondering if it was the dress that stained her or some unknown evil force.

Staining doesn't occur on contact. it occurs over time when the plastic is malleable. Your package was probably kept in the sun/heat.

1. if it weren't a legit operation, they'd have skipped that part.

An effective precaution is a thing to dress the undergarment of a white cloth to the doll.

Otherwise, the colors such as clothes and hairs erode the body of the doll.

All Japanese doll user have a hard time in this thing, too.

You've obviously never dealt with this problem. Stains are not on the surface, Fabric dyes are *absorbed into the plastic* and no form of topical wiping will solve this problem. Also how the hell can the precaution be taken by the buyer while it's still in transit from the retailer?

That sucks. I've never had problems with Azone products. Have bought several dolls and bodies without manufacturing defects. I can't help you with Sera but for Aika it's tine to try some pimple cream and bright lamps.

My opinion is a method of prevention to it.

If erosion to the body is serious, let's give it up.
