Man that takes me back a couple years. Good Games, I suppose. I should learn a character in MBAC. Coming from MBAA I found it impossible to DP on wakeup, A+B Dash (laggg) and lost to constant netplay tactics. Not gonna lie, that made me a sadpanda.

Trust me broski, you're not as good as you think you are. Every single one of your airthrows fullscreen runups meaty 2A's with HVsion I attempted to EX DP but I swear it worked maybe twice. Not to mention your blockstrings are pretty bad (you must of done your launcher in blockstring like 15 times, which was damn near impossible to punish with the delay and stick USB polling rate). You kept air teching like crazy, I think you teched into 5A about 5 times.

Yeah, I mashed DP pretty hard but it rarely worked when I wanted it to. Your baiting could be better though, at one point you blocked to bait and I woke up threw you. Your feint j.c crossup with Sacchin must of hit me everytime, but that's only because the netplay left a very small gap from which I would have to block while you were still in the air as opposed to making the quick correction from when you're just over me (holding stand block) to crouch blocking after I acknowledge it's a feint. That sort of thing is "netplay tactics" because you have to force a decision when a better one can be made that isn't possible under certain delay (input or ping).

I'll admit, I'm terrible at MBAC and that was a terrible performance. I honestly never spent any time with the characters. I couldn't air throw to get control of the match (but I can do this easily offline). You should come out to NECXI and get rocked.

DP on wakeup is only 3-4 frames (or has startup invincibility, depending on the move), so it will beat out any sort of attack the opponent is doing meaty to you while you're waking up. If it's blocked or misses though you will basically get comboed due to the recovery you have.

Also, shortcut buttons? Why would anyone use those when you can just hit A+B?

The fact that you're clinging to meter burning mashy DP for wakeup that relies on frame specific input as the reason for your loss shows that you're not as good as you think that you are either.

Third party here - if a strategy isn't working on netplay when it works offline, you need to ditch it and find a strategy that does work on netplay, not hope your lag will suddenly disappear or that maybe this time you'll get lucky and pull it off.

I was pretty much autopiloting my way around with VSion as she's not even close to my main. I don't pretend to be good, but when people try to tell that they couldn't wakeup dp and they're pretty much getting hit every single time during uke, I can't really respect that.

The Sacchin setup is a three way mixup, sorry if you can't guess correctly any of the attempts.

A good thought, but the fact is it doesn't show the skill of the player. I admit I was just mashing for fun, I don't intend to play competitive on netplay. Ever. But just felt a little robbed considering my experience with the engine that it happened online.

In my opinion you all should leave you rooms once in a while and try to hit up your local MB scene. It guarantee you it'll be a lot more fun. Don't get all defensive /jp/, I'm not trying to bitch or whine about losing. MBAC netplayyy man. Couldn't even be serious about it if I wanted to.

I think all these states in America have some MB Scene. Midwest is mostly desolate but most of the coast line and major cities have players looking for games as far as I know.
