the story in itself is okay I guess, however as an adaptation it really didn't capture the original. it's also way too short to tackle a story as 红楼梦.

it would have been better if they worked on adapting other Chinese romance classics like 西厢记, which is significantly more focused on romance and shorter.

in the end, the only thing that really sort of shines in this is the art. but it didn't sell well enough to generate a trend of VNs.

Somehow this VN reminds me of those old '90 'Dating Sims' which also were not voiced, but with animated characters.

Anyway it's a good beginning for a Chinese VN. Let's hope they would produce more in the future, even though the mainland weaboo base isnt that large.

Meh, it's not that hard. Really you just need some training, and then you'll recognize the traditional forms.
