Back. Was taking a shower.

Reposting this here. I haven't added it yet.

The cat seemed to enjoy always being surrounded by people.
On the rabbit's part, the number of students that came to see it fell,
That's how it was treated.
Well, childen have a tendency to be cruel.
But I came to feel sorry for the rabbit.
Being careful that nobody would see, I sometimes went to see it.
I was really relieved every time I saw that the rabbit was alive and well.
...
The cat and the rabbit would play with each other through the fence,
I saw it many times.
The favorite and the unpopular one were different(?),
Their relationship was good, right?
I thought things like that.

Right now I'm trying to add a new page to separate the text in the event, so it doesn't bugs out. Also, trying to figure out what's making Metsu crash with the translation.

One day when going to see the rabbit, there was a previous visitor.
She was a girl, about the same age as me.
The girl talked to the rabbit, and she gave it food.
My, it was a pleasant scene.
The girl was always playing with the rabbit.
I was always watching them from afar.
Somehow, my heart beat really fast.
From here are things that I learned later.

That girl showed athsmatic symptoms because of cats.

Also, the second line from every line that has been broken into two won't dissapear until the next broken line shows up. Despite the 'delete, 1' command I've added, this issue stands.

あげは.txt

What with the strange person I saw and Edogawa's ghost story, it already seemed like they were preparing for something.

I knew it.

I think that it was too absurd. Yeah. Really.

Anyhow, what a tactless surprise party!

Well, but, they did work to that extent for my sake.

That makes me a little happy.

Incidentally, I said some terrible things to Kyoko, huh?

Though it didn't seem like she was listening.

Sorry.

But really, that girl, though she has some strange points, she's not a bad girl.

Since she seems to always be coughing and her throat seems bad, I had to notice.

This time it's not this lively,
Alone with Satoru、I want to go somewhere quiet.

Speaking of Satoru, he's still drawing those creepy pictures.

Pictures in a cute design of endless suicidal cats.

Geez, I really wish you'd stop that! (sweat drop)

I tried asking that, but it seems he didn't care.

Recently, he seems to be imitating the style of some foreign cartoonist called something-or-other.

"In that case, draw rabbits like the original material!" I said,
This time around it really seems to be suicidal rabbits.

On this recent trip he also seemed to bring an illustration notebook,
Oh how I love you!

Well, since I'm a cat lover, it's better than cats. Just kidding.

I used to be like this. The trick is to keep your bar full. Forget about huge combos and stuff, just focus on keeping your bar as high as possible.

The little flashing balls are a godsend. When you see one, stop EVERYTHING you're aiming for and toss a block at it. It'll fill your bar really fast and give you a nice chance to keep going for a while.

After that, the points come naturally. Just focus on making small combos instead of huge ones. That helps too.

So there's a little problem with 1-3 script I might not be able to solve.

Kyouko herself, or rather, her sprite and animation, are making the game skip ahead on script 1-3. Basically, when she reaches the window, that's it. The game interprets that as the time to trigger the next script, interrupting 1-3 abruptly and beginning 1-4.

Thing is, I have NO idea on how to modify Kyouko's walking animation, imposing a serious problem on 1-3.

However, the rest of the ending should be working fine with this version I'm uploading (turns out, there was a broken line that made the game crash on 1-2, which I fixed). Still waiting for those untranslated lines on 2-1, though.

Well, like I said earlier, the devs made this game VERY TIGHTLY LOCKED in a japanese font timer. Events flow one after the other with no time in between them.

The developers simply made the text end when Kyouko reaches the screen. Our text takes longer because the sentences are longer, so they need more time to appear. However, we can't afford that time because Kyouko comes in and murders it.

Those two seemed to have fun talking again today.

-------------

What in the world is so much fun?

I wish everyone would just die.

He was a cute kid.
----
Uujima Satoshi-kun.
That was the kid with the cute smile.
The gentle kid who even gave a kind smile to someone like me.
He's always alone.
Just like me.
----
One day, I peeked at Edogawa-kun's notebook.
There, a strange world was spread before me.
Many pencil drawings.
A cat, grilling in an earthen brazier behind closed doors.
A cat, flying a kite in a thunderstorm.
A cat, performing a slow suicide with a lot of tobacco smoke.
猫が真上に発砲して自由落下してきた弾丸に脳天を打ちぬかれていたり、
Illustrations expressing such hatred toward cats were lined up.
He was like me, a person with the same feelings.
That time that our eyes met was fate.
And.
From that day, Uujima-kun and I began to get along.
---
During lectures is a happy time where I can be togther with Uujima-kun.
There are always four vacant seats between us.
Somehow or another this was the decided placement.
He felt that I liked this incomplete sense of distance.

Uuji. Uuji. Uuji. Uuji.

So we're having another slight problem. So you need both dat and dat.dxa in your Irisu folder for it to work. That's because once the files are decrypted, the game starts to inquire for both sources to load the scripts. One doesn't works without the other.

Unfortunately, re-encrypting the files doesn't seems to work. You still need both sources even with dat.dxa re-encrypted. So what we're facing here is a similar problem with img.dxa. You'll need both sources in your folder for it to work, but the img folder sums up to a whopping 64 mb's.

So that's not cool. I'm trying to re-encode img.dxa in a way that you won't need the img folder, but I'm not sure it'll work out.

And since you didn't knew who was talking on the second CG, I took my liberty to write it down for you:

Ageha「They say that witch's strange experiments... huh, you're quiet, what's wrong?」
Edogawa「You really are bad with this sort of thing, aren't you?~」
Ageha「...it's not that! I saw it just now! I saw some person with weird clothes!」
Edogawa「What do you mean?」
Ageha「You know, like an apron dress? That kind of odd skirt and clothes.
wearing a hat like a witch's, with rabbit ears sprouting from it,
a person like that was standing and looking at me!」
Uuji「What's that, it's not like Edogawa's ghost story. It's a rabbit witch.」
Ageha「I saw a figure in the distance, uh, here, someone besides us was here,
It seemed like that person was watching throughly, silently staring at us.」
Uuji「Maybe you were just seeing things?」
Ageha「...No! She was a bit far, and she left quickly...
But I definetely saw her, I'm sure!
I wondered if I was seeing things, so I felt bad and tried to forget it
and didn't say anything to anyone, but I really saw someone!」
Edogawa「We'll all be materials for the witch's experiment, then~」
Ageha「Aah, stop it, stop it!!」
Edogawa「Ahh, I'm sorry, it was too funny. Let's sleep.」
Edogawa「If you sleep for a night, you can forget about unpleasant things.」

And that's the last we ever heard from Edogawa. Poor, poor Edo-kun. Destined to dissapear at the mercy of a bread nailbat. Oh, the horrors of this game!

Here is a sample for the title logo by the way, opinions please.

Shokogun means literally "a cluster of symptoms".

Okay whatever. Let's just keep that there.

The letter on the blood in title_logo_ex.png means "metsu", right?

As much as I'd like to comply with you, I do admit, it's sort of hard to identify who's saying what, at least in the first and second CG's.

I don't like the names either, but we need to put SOMETHING in there to make it easier. Maybe change the font color?

>> No.6386079

About the space for names: You can make them short like "Edo, Age, Uuj" and insert those short names AFTER the line.

I think that should do, like "*text* (Edo)"

In respect for my co-worker, I've taken out the names. I believe his wish takes weight over mine, and part of me wants to keep the source material intact as well.

Here's the version without the names, and with all menus translated.

i tried adding it, but it only translated 2 of the options (start and ranking) and they still turn into moon when you hover over them. unpacking the img.dxa file showed they're unchanged there too.

you sure you uploaded/linked the right files?

I made the mistake of making 20k points right away. It seems it's impossible to get the 10k ending now. I'll check it out later. I made a list of nitpicks and suggestions as I was playing.

-かいまく.txt

>○Ageha(♀)
Her role is to remain until the end。

The name should be Irisu

-4th album CG

5th line: "I didn't heard anything" should be "I didn't hear anything"

-2nd ending
I don't remember exact lines because I was paying attention to the game, but this should be clear enough

"Please make up some X ghost stories" X probably shouldn't be there
Ageha asks if Irisu was jealous. After the question mark there is a comma that shouldn't be there. Other sentences in this ending should be checked for this error as well.
The line right before Ageha says "Irisu Kyouko!" cuts off early
I didn't have time to check, but all cases of Irisu's name should be romanized the same way for consistency. Kyouko is the correct way.

"Isn't that bad manners?" Awkward grammar here. Consider rephrasing.

-あげは.txt

Romanization of Kyouko's name is off.

Made all the changes [?] you wanted. Mediafire insists I want to make batch uploads and is jamming the whole thing up. I'm uploading to 2shared again.

[ERROR]

Bah. I noticed at least one punctuation error in the 10k ending. Went to type it down and missed the next line. Then I went back to the game to finish reading and completely forgot where the error was. As far as the timing for the text goes though, it all looked okay. Though did you still want the two rows of text to appear at the same time? I noticed that was fixed for some parts in the 20k ending, so I figured it might be able to be fixed for the 10k end.

More stuff I noticed on this playthrough:

-1st CG

Last line. I think the "everyone" is left over from when you were putting the names in front of the text. I'm not sure if you wanted to keep it or not, so I figured I'd point it out.

-2nd ending

Typo: "unnatual attitude" should be "unnatural attitude"
Kyouko's name is romanized as Kyoko in the line before "What's with that look"

-あげは.txt

Romanization of Kyouko's name is off. To be more specific, it's in the 7th line.

If we're not at autosage with this post, I won't be able to make the next thread. I ask that whoever does make the next thread includes both the download link to the game and the latest translation in the OP.

I'll have a look at Metsu and replay the endings tomorrow.
