Something like the two first games were two alternate plans Yasu had to kill everyone in the island while explaining his/her locked rooms with magic, s/he wrote them down and trew them in the ocean, every other game was just a fanfiction by someone else who claimed to have solved the two previous games and used the same premise to write 4 more

In the real world nothing went according to the plans Yasu wrote

My personal guess is that the whole metaworld thing happens inside Yasu's head while s/he's uncouncious but not dead after being shot down in the hidden gold room
