On top of that, it only exists for you if you go the TIPS screen that always claims magic exists. The first two episodes are just Shannon's fanfic of her own murders-to-be anyway, and she never wanted to tell Battler anything directly. It would be stupid for her to put the tattoo on the same leg and show Battler this and have him just come to the conclusion that they must be the same person for this and only then recognizing his sin. It would be too obvious for the actual reader, as well. Much better to have them on the different leg and have other retards assume that they must not be the same person because of this.
