I'm sorry, I jumped on AT2 right after finishing AT1 oh god Shurelia is adorable and the new battle system is confusing me.
How exactly does the emotion system thing work? I get that the purple graph thing is supposed to show the Reyvateil's "wishes", do I just need to try to get my actions in the shape they want? Like, if they show a pyramid, do I need to do <- ^ and -> actions so it fits as much as possible?
Between managing songs and attacking, I seem to get only 2-3 actions per attack turn, I can't really fill out most of them.
I'd appreciate any tips you might have.

Up boosts harmonics. It does something else (boosts attack, I think; it might have been necessary for level 2, 3, and EX vanguard attacks; you should be able to look it up in the in-game help), but the big effects are that its required for replekia (which you'll get later) and sync magic. (which you can do when the two reyvatails that are active are at 20% sync)

Down boosts psych (which raises defense, IIRC), but once again, the big effect here is that its required for sync magic.

Left boosts the burst rate, which effects how much damage a spell does.

I don't even remember what right does.

Filling one side of the diamond provides a big boost in whatever that side is for. Also, when you get level two magic, you'll need to fill the diamond up to the dot in order to change it to the next level of magic.

I've really never understood the appeal for Cloche. She seems quite whiny for a large majority of the game of the game, especially when you start to progress in the Infelsphere, she's a generic tsundere and her VA is awesome but she gets annoying after a while, in my opinion.. at least when acting like a tsundere. Also she has massive chest tumours so that isn't exactly a good trait either. Luca may be an annoying backstabbing bitch but at least she's remotely fappable.
