/a/ told me you guys have fig threads. Help me please.

I got a Tachibana Rei fig, pic related. I didn't know until I got it, the shirt's removable, pleasant surprise. The arms are removable to take the shirt off. I got the left off, right one isn't coming off, even if I pull as hard as I goddamn can. I can see the crease, and I see it has come out a little, but I can't get it.

Any fig owners got any tips for me?

Even more true on 4chan. And i can't help you either unfortunately.

The peg that attaches the arm to the body is probably at an angle and you're pulling it against that. Try pulling from a different angle.

>> No.6203998

You shouldn't try doing these kinds of things without first applying copious amounts of lube.

Well, I'm trying to pull from various angles, it's not coming out, but I can peek in and see that it LOOKS like it's pretty close to coming out. It looks like it should just be falling out now, really. Maybe I'm missing something...

Wiggle it. Just. A. Little Bit. I wanna see you wiggle it. Just. A little bit.

AS IT GROOVES!

I should also note, the right sleeve seems to be able to come off...partially. Like, the top of it is disconnected, but as it gets under her arm, it seems connected to the rest of the shirt again. If I take the sleeve off, it would definitely make it easier, but it doesn't look like I'm intended to take it off, like I'll need superglue to get it connected to the shirt again.

I don't know.

OP
Here's how you are supposed to do it. Without ripping her arm off.
You'll need good hand strength or a vice. Simply apply pressure to her chest until the arm socket forms something like an oval. It ought to be fairly flexable so don't worry about breaking it, but don't go overboard. Once you have the oval simply pull the arm against the top or bottom of the socket at an angle and it should pop right out. This is neccasary since sometimes you'll get a fig that has an oddly shaped plug or just a defect from the mold used.

I don't think this is the kind of figure you think it is.
Or this is a /jp/ meme I am not getting.
Or something else that should be obvious that I am not getting.

>>6204022
It's not the obvious thing to do. But it does work. Anyone who has a few figures comes to this point at some time or another. PVC is a bit more forgiving than you'd think it to be. Just remember to be careful with it.

>> No.6204035

Give up on figure collecting forever.

...because you are one stupid nigger.

>> No.6204041

You could try heating it up a little to make it a little more malleable. Works with glasses anyhow.
