Why would they make touhou anime anyway? Most important part of an anime is story, and Touhou has really shitty story. The only good things about Touhou are gameplay, music, and porn, only the second one can be implemented into an anime (and then it's just cheaper to make a music CD).
I just don't get it. Why do anime out of this when you can make it out of much better and more fitting titles?

That means, that there are plenty of stuff to build upon, everywhere, yet there's not many limitations, and you can take your own take on it easily.

Touhou can easily either be GrimDark or NobleBright, or anything in between.
