People who don't like PC-98 Touhou just don't appreciate 8-bit graphics. I liked it better when every enemy except the bosses wasn't a fairy and the stages actually were fun.

Pretty much this. ZUN games are now about flying through countless danmaku spouted out by generic fairies with a 3D background to reach the boss. In the past, all the enemies were actually creative.

ZUN should do what Nintendo does and make a remake of Touhou 2-5 for the PC.
