Fine suggestions but it seems that if I try to do anything after 2A3A I get punched, even if they were blocked, naturally I use j.2C but it's a cover for approach and not fast enough to constantly keep the enemy under pressure, I also use j.2A a lot but it doesn't really allow sustained pressure either and is rather dangerous for self when overused. 4C generally gets my arse whooped when I try to use it and rarely do I get hits with it, must be just me using it wrong but I can't really see how to implement it to pressure. With Kanako rush also being punishable on block and if the opponent is careful you need to actually think when to use the rush instead of just hammering it whenever it's ready

GGs Sitha. Can't really help you much with your Sanae. I've been trying to learn her as well but she plays a whole lot different than my usual mains. One thing I do know though, you can combo into that 4-card spell Miracle "Night of the Supernova Storm" from quite a few attacks. For example, a Dial-A works midscreen for about 4000 damage.

Enough assertions. It's a fearsome card, but not 100% instawin. When I say bait I'm not saying that you should jump right in the center of the ball, but rather around its outline. Once the SC is declared you have plenty of time to change your course. Its hitbox will expand slowly, the thunder offsprings won't be able to eat your spirit fast enough. In worst case, if you're playing a character with unlimited ground graze, you can eat Iku's melee and be done with it. The Iku player may even screw up at this point, not expecting such an unheard of 'counter'. Imo the beauty of that card lies within its high combo finishing value, and secondly oki power.

We don't have to agree on this, though. It's just one card.

1 card whisps to make skills safe, to crush and for some combos.
3 card slash to continue pressure whenever, even after a knockdown.

Besides those, her cards are kind of mediocre. SLE for round two 6k damage, boat for crossups and lifesteal card for midscreen damage are fine too.

all of them can be good, if used properly, but here's the ones i think are worth looking at.

1 card boat - great combo finisher from anywhere on the screen.

3 card boat with wisps - very useful card, free pressure if used right. you can hit confirm this, but i don't use it for that. the wisps form on the edge of the screen to komachi's back, and they deal a huge amount of spirit damage on block. a good way to use this is to dash under someone and use the spell before komachi's position corrects (her back is to her opponents still), so the wisps form right on top of them. at this point, most people will block and usually have an orb crushed or even get caught off guard and take full damage.

3 card hell beam - extremely, fucking, useful. does an orb of spirit damage on block, high guard crush on wrongblock. the beam hits as a projectile as it forms, and komachi's scythe hits as a physical, making it very hard to escape on reaction. opponents caught inside it will move very slowly. j2a crossups work well here. free pressure. if you use it and it knocks someone down and they tech out of it, you can use komachi's teleports to put them back inside. they're still able to jump and attack at normal speed inside it, so don't be reckless.

4 card scythe of the final judgment - automatically targets your opponent, doesn't matter if you're facing them or not. a good way to use this card for an easy 3.5k is on reaction to j2a, f5a, 6a, 3a counterhits.

5 card short life expectancy - 50% off opponents current life along with 50% of the combo that proceeded it. can be combos into from dial-a (6k at full health) and 66a 236b, guardcrushes and other things.

i'm no komachi pro, don't even main her, but this is what i've picked up from dabbling on her a bit.

Actually, you would just have to take one card and switch Ritual of Extasy for Endless Way and not waste the space which would be used for more onaboats and wisps. Endless Way tends to make people hilariously confused when they experience it first, becuase even though the hitbox is much smaller, it's basically an auto-home version of this card. It's fun to mix with Slash of the Reaper, because just when they think they are out of the oh-fuck zone of the Slash, they throw some projectiles and get punished by Endless Way instead.

Needs to learn to combine execute these two right, though.

Can someone tell me how to use Sakuya's 3A? I see other people use it but I can't for the life of me find a single way to actually land the damn thing.

On an unrelated note, I decided to check the tier list and saw Sakuya in S tier and felt good.

The spellcard is way superior. It hits twice. Once melee and once bullet. Thanks to this it's possible to punish HJs, and if it's blocked you get frame advantage. The slowed movement is just a side effect.

example: You do a full dialA and it's blocked. Of course the opponent will either try to hit you or jump out. But if you do the 3card, you get about 2000 damage plus a crossup oki. If it's blocked? You continue pressuring in pink pillar. Win/win situation.

People will quit on waiting for a host as fast as people quit when hosting.
The limit is around 2-3 minutes of waiting and then people stop hosting or stop looking.
There should just be a list of all the hosters of /jp/ and when you sign in you just open port and wait.
