In Higurashi everyone wore something fairly normal looking regardless of station/class. How come everyone within an arm's swing of the ultra-wealthy in Umineko suddenly have the fashion-taste of a homosexual Italian tailor?

Umineko clothes are awesome. Higurashi outfits are plain and boring. Not even the short period of time I was a Higufag could like those, not even if I tried hard to.

In the other hard clothing was one of the things that got me into Umineko at first.
It gets worse later though, AuAu, Zepar and Furfur killed my eyes forever.
