I like it when some insignificant shop I made over a year ago suddenly shows up again. It gives me some hope that some of the people who browsed this place back then are still here, that you guys didn't just all leave me alone with all the new people we've gotten lately.

I wouldn't really care. None of the people I know in real life even know what Touhou is. I suppose it would be interesting being able to talk to someone about it without it going way over their heads.

I disagree. ZUN get's a ton more respect and attention than most of his peers. I mean, how many people regularly discuss Siter Skain or x.x? How many indie developers can say they've had whole events dedicated to their games? Not even Pixel gets as much praise as ZUN, and Cave Story actually did get an official console release.

ZUN is one of the greatest people I know, if for no other reason that that he could choose to sell out and become extremely rich, and yet he keeps it real, puts very few if any limits on spin-offs of his work, and only uses his doujin creations to obtain a little extra beer money. ZUN is a role model that all original content creators should strive to be like. Even people who hate Touhou and/or Touhou fans have got to respect ZUN.
