Dollar falls to 15-year low against yen
http://rawstory.com/news/afp/Dollar_falls_to_15_year_low_against_09072010.html
>The dollar fell to a 15-year low against the yen Tuesday, plunging at one point to 83.52, as the Japanese unit took advantage of its status as a refuge currency amid global economic uncertainty.

>The gain in the yen was also supported by the absence of new measures from the Bank of Japan, whose policymakers convened Tuesday, to stem the upward momentum.

Game over bros, game over...

If I remember lots of jp stuff were around 5000-9000 yen, but that was still roughly withing the 50-150 USD range if I remember correctly.

But this means that Mahoutsukai no Yoru will be around 9500 dollars and up, that's insane.

I've made something in the order of around 650k USD in the last 2 years. (Pure profit) The post crash stock market has been full of ridiculous opportunities, limited only by your capital (I didn't have much) and market knowledge. This has literally been paradise for me, while it has been hell for the average citizen.

The opportunities now aren't quite as nice as they were in the last 2 years but there is definitely still profit to be found.

Gold is at an all time high, the US Dollar is at a 15 year low.

Exchanging USD for gold is about the worst thing you can do. You'd be much better off selling your gold for USD.

Remember, sell high, buy low.

How do you go about doing something like this? I have absolutely no idea how to even begin going about this.

Do I have to drive to NY City and stop in the Wallstreet stock store? Do I need to get a those stock ticker running at the bottom of my computer monitor? Should I take out my TI-86 and practice on Drug Wars? Are there questions I should be asking that I'm not?

If you could answer any of these questions, I'd be greatful.

The first step is to research, and watch the market. I had 6 years of research and following the market before I dove in (due to lack of capital). I would watch and follow stocks in real time, trends, read articles, books, take notes, and so on. I also kept a fake practice portfolio, and tried predicting the outcomes of my trades. By the end of the 6th year I was doing well and showing significant profits, and I had the capital so I decided to jump into the real thing.

If you try to get into the market without doing a lot of research, or practice, you're going to lose, and probably lose hard. At best it'll be a gamble. You'll also want a couple thousand dollars to start with.

Do research, practice trading, don't pay for anything at this point, and save money. If you can't get the hang of it (showing a positive trend in your practice portfolio / predictions) don't do it. At the very least you saved money you otherwise would have spent.

There is no easy way to become successful. It's hard and there is a reason most people lose at trading.

Honestly, and not meaning to sound rude, but if you can't find out what you need to know alone, you probably aren't going to be successful. This isn't a get rich quick scheme. It takes intelligence, dedication, and hard work.

Ive gone from 100 to 9000 and back to 1500 in the past year. I took a pretty large chance at 9000 to push forward into serious cash which would have let me quit working but that didnt work out. I want to eventually live off these earnings and not have to work so I took the chance.
