Are you guys SURE it's worth sitting through all of the routes just to get to Coco's?
Because I'll be honest, I'm getting a little bored.

>> No.6089006

yeah it is.

>> No.6089007

Simply put, yes. I assume you already started playing. If you haven't heard, the usual recommendation is Tsugumi first, Sara fourth, and Coco's route starting with the Kid.

>> No.6089014

Not really, but it feels good to finish it completely.

>> No.6089013

Yeah it's a pretty big mindfuck, too bad it takes forever for this game to get anywhere near decent.

>> No.6089023

Not OP, but I'm also playing through this. Have Tsugumi and Sora's routes done and dusted with, now starting You's. It's... alright, so far. Not as enthralling as R11.

>> No.6089029

I thought Tsugumi's route was great, the good end was so sad.
Same with Sora's route.
You's was pretty boring, and Sara's was alright.
I never understand why most people say that every route sucks besides Coco's

>> No.6089035

>>6089023
yeah ever17 is pretty hyped up, but it's really not all that good.

Even cocos route isn't anything real amazing. I think everybody liked it so much because the game finally fucking ends.

Chicken sandwiches: the VN

Read Remember11 instead

>> No.6089040

Yes.

But then I only got really bored while reading Sora's route. The ending didn't make any goddamn sense either. If Takeshi died with her inside Lemu, how can he be dead on the ocean floor for Coco's route?

Remember11 and Ever17 are complete opposites.

R11 has a gripping, exciting feeling from start to finish, you just can't put it down. When everything is fine and dandy at it's peak, it punches you in the face, shits in your mouth and makes you cry tears of displeasure.

E17 is a bit boring until you shit bricks at the ending and feel warm and fuzzy and perfect. Better aftertaste.

>> No.6089195

Not directly related to this thread, but it's pretty funny how translation readers try their hardest to be elitist and are really trigger happy to rate every VN shit. It's kinda pointless when you have a pool that small to choose from, you're just ruining it for yourselves. With a selection that small, you should try enjoying every decent VN to it's fullest instead of hunting for flaws and getting buttravaged here.

I'd suggest getting a new hobby to practice your elitism on, it would be more worthwhile.

The best thing is that every time a translation for a supposedly good VN is released, they bitch about overrated shit or Disney or whatever, always waiting and whining for the "real" good titles to be translated. The thing is, a lot of the great titles are already translated.

These people should really think of changing hobbies.

Actually, I think it's better to play the Kid routes first (and thus going You, Sara, Sora, and Tsugumi). Why?

In the Kid routes, Coco is set up as this mysterious, transient existence, and if you know there's a Coco route before playing the game you might assume that her identity will be a central focus of the meta-plot.

However, upon starting the Takeshi routes, she's suddenly just THERE. With no real explanation. And Sara is gone.

It's like a brick twist you create yourself.

I don't see how, with median they're all tied for first place, and with average there is only a 1.5 point difference between MLA in first and Clannad in 5th.

That's exactly how I did it and I agree with you that this order produces best tweest especially because You don't get to see IBF in Kid's routes so the Himmel door remains very mysterious, also you don't learn about CURE until the end
