I do not put TLO on a pedestal. He is a very strong player, and he is very entertaining to watch. I would not place him in the top 3 Terran by any means, but his matches are anything but boring.

In the current state of things in BW, yes, definitely. You are ancient, you are a geezer. There is no hope for you to have mechanics even a fraction as good as robots like Jaedong.

As for SC2, it is much, much less demanding. You do not need the mechanics that were required for BW. Many older BW and WC3 players are switching over, and the majority of them are well past the peak age of a BW player. Here is a chart with a handful of them.
