I'm writing a bullshit final paper for my Japanese pop culture class on 2ch and 4chan. I just need one positive influence 2ch has had on society, with a source (crappy article would do).

Any weeaboos in here know what good 2ch has done for Japan or the world?

There was a story of someone on 2ch who stood up for a woman who was getting harassed on a bus, she thanked him and he get her phone number. He then went to 2ch for help with dealing with said woman. They gave good advice, and in the end he started dating the woman. I think a bunch of people from 2ch even went to the wedding.
I'm not giving you any fucking sources though, lazy ass.
