All of the translating, and other work on JAST's side is done. What's keeping the game from being released right now is Nitro+, and their shitty work on engine, that they want to do themself.

JAST has absolutely nothing to do with no-release now.

I hope you guys realize that no matter who got the Nitro+ license the release would be delayed when someone found out how poorly the engine worked with English text. I understand you dislike JAST but at least know where to direct your anger this time. Nitro+ needs to hold up on their end of the deal for it to work out and so far they've done absolutely nothing.

I have mixed feelings over it. I now know bad ends are essential to understand story. I got most of them, but not crucial ones. Yes forest's script has 12000 lines, however it has a craploads of voice only scenes which makes the total amount a lot more a measel 12000 lines.
Additionally even those 12000 lines will require extra work than normally, because there are scenes where the audio says something else than the text. Frankly the best way to do these would be to dub the entire game but loldubs.
Personally I wish he'd rather do something else in its place instead. It doesn't sound like something I'm going to enjoy.

It's not as much as a mindfuck, I'm afraid. Sure, there's a whole "mystery plot" in the background, but for the most part, you know what's happening after a route or so. Unlike Ever17, most mysteries about a character are revealed in their own routes. In other words, Never7 is more of a "traditional" VN compared to later installments like Ever17 and Remember11.
