Why are your Touhou dreams first person shooters instead of vertical shooters?

I think I can only remember seein references to touhou in my dreams. Articles on magazines about Touhou games, some touhou-themed things... nothing else.

I don't know. I guess it's too much Metro2033 and other horror/scifi fps. I'm just glad that Touhou does come up in my dreams.

I was chasing Marisa while dodging her IN stage 4 danmaku patterns, we were both running instead of flying and then she jumped on top of Letty (or was it Merlin) who was actully made of chocolate, then my teeth started falling

I was Marisa stuck in Portal. Obviously I blasted everything with Master Spark, but it did nothing to the Weighted Companion Cube because like the Master Spark, the Companion Cube possessed the power of love.

I've gotten only one so far. It was with my love, Rumia.

We were just walking around Gensokyo, both of us not knowing where we were going because of Rumia's power. Then we went to Reimu's shrine for tea. After that I don't know what happened.

Fuck I don't have any Touhou related dreams, although I have dreamt multiple times about Umineko and Gundam 00.

1: A friend of a friend buys a large stationary machine gun which he quickly becomes overly obsessed with. Eventually he names it Sakuya, fits it with a cute little maids' bonnet and attempts to have intercourse with it, with horrible results.

2: Omachi abducts Ran from her proper setting, seemingly with Yukari's permission, for some sexual outlet since she is apparently afraid of becoming pregnant by Masamune. Ran turns the abduction on its head and mercilessly teases Omachi about her supposed fear of getting "heavy with kits", and everyone is happy. Then while making dinner back at Mayohiga Ran has visions of Omachi being shot up by arrows from some named generic commander and breaks down crying.

I've had plenty of touhou related dreams. I'm also jelly of you kissing Yuka.

Last night in a dream I saw Kanako in a two piece down at the beach where I live. As I approached her the setting changed to lake suwa and then she stomped me with a Divine Virtue of Wind God attack. Was an exciting dream notheless; it was fun trying to dodge danmaku.

Whenever I play hisoutensoku right before going to bed I tend to have Touhou dreams.

But as far as dreams go, I've had quite a few. One that I remember quite well was Patchouli smacking my penis with a thesaurus. That was both arousing and painful. I felt it minutes after waking up as well.

I've gotten into a bicycle race with Eirin and Reisen.

I ended up hitting Tewi with my bike when I fell behind and dumped her body in a nearby well. I don't really remember what happened after that.

Fought with Reisen. She had the suppository bullets as usual, plus her EX attack (exploding torpedo bullets) from PoFV. That was harder than expected.

I was alice and I was in Eirin's clinic, holding Marisa's hand because she was dying of something like a leucemia. She said that I was the only one who came. She said she loves me and then, die.

Since, I know that a dream can make you cry like a litte girl. I played with Marisa's team in imperishable night all the day after that.

I've had my eyes eaten out by Remila before.

Not the best dream I've ever had.

I wrote about my Suika dream on here just a day or two ago- there were evil people trying to come and kill us, but every gun I found only had 1 or 2 bullets in the magazine.

I never kissed Yuuka in a dream, however once I dreamt that she was flirting with me. We were walking together, and she was making me carry the parasol. As we walked, she was talking to me about how she was impressed that I wasn't afraid of her like a lot of humans were. I said something about "its because they think you'll eat them" and she looked up at me and said "Oh, but I will!" and then playfully bit me on the shoulder while laughing.

She got spit on my shirt.

I already talked about the dream in which Reimu frightened me very badly by breaking into my room, but it turned out she just wanted to give me some weed.

The only other Touhou-related dream I had was with Aya.

Inexplicably, we were in a hotel, she was naked and atop me. For some reason, my penis kept slipping off of her. She was berating me loudly, telling me I was retarded and that a Down's Syndrome baby must have taught me to have sex.

Then I accidentally inserted my penis in her ass. She yelled out, slapped me, then jumped off my body, and screamed that I was the worst at having sex.

I jolted awake at that point.

I was going for a ride in a bus with Nitori and Ricky Martin, and we passed by a concert by Chayanne.
I was interested in Nitori but she was interested in Ricky
BTW, this was before he announced he was gay.

I dreamed Tewi was juggling chainsaws, but she messed up and cut Reisen in half. There was blood everywhere.

I've had a smattering of toohoo in my dreams, usually just as brief cameos before they disappear forever.

I did have a memorable one where Youmu hit me with a taxi cab while Yuyuko shouted obscenities at me.

None of them were really unpleasant, just weird

I've only had one touhou dream, and it occured after spending a good 2 hours straight right before I slept trying to clear EoSD extra:

I went to the SDM for a reason I've since forgotten and somehow ended up in the basement. Flandre found me and proceeded to chase me until she cornered me and eventually caught me. She then began to torture me (like actual torture, not BDSM, the only part of it I remember was her impaling various parts of my body with her nails) until I eventually woke up in pool of sweat.

It's the only time I've actually freaked out because of a dream and woke up in my own sweat. I still also don't know why I dreamed about the torture aspect of the dream...

Last time I checked RM didn't possess C+ sized breasts.

I dreamt I was fighting monsters and shit. My sword bent when I stabbed one, so I grabbed a spine and skull off the ground and used it as a flail. I smashed Sanae's head in for some reason.

I had a bizarre one where I found the Three Fairies on the side of the road in a box (like kittens usually are) and I was deciding whether I should take them home with me or not.

Can someone give me some tips to having Touhou dreams?

Only had one Touhou appear in my dreams ever before, and it was Youmu. IIRC, she was trying to warn and protect me from something when I was in the middle of a class, and dragged me out with her. I don't remember if she ever specified from what exactly she was protecting me from, or if I simply just forgot.

For remembering, starting writing down your dreams as soon as you wake up. Even if you only remember small details, or a feeling, write it down. For getting touhous into your dreams, right as you start to get tiered, read some doujins, and then when your falling asleep try to only think about touhous.

Remembering dreams takes time, how I learned to do it was to force myself awake after every dream and write it down. Later on did I start to remember about 90% of my dreams.

To get touhous in them, just do touhou related things before going to bed.

If you really want to dream of touhous, I put a picture on my computer of Reimu and layed on my bed. I stared at the picture while I ran Reimu related scenarios through my head. It worked pretty damn well.

When you dreamt about her when you finally fell asleep, or dozed off, were you still in your room? I sometimes have dreams where I'm only half-asleep, yet my physical surroundings remain the same and my dreams are influenced much more by what I have been thinking about or doing recently.

I remember a part of a thread in which I was flying through some weird rimension, led by Alice Margatroid, who would shoot yellow bullets at these strange, semi-translucent doors that were everywhere, making them disappear.

The rest of the dream wasn't very Touhou-related at all.

Touhous tend to show up in my dreams now as background characters, to the point I'm not really sure which ones are there. I had one instance of punching giant spider robots to protect an underground fortress that was completely empty save for one room that belonged to an archaeologist... and was occupied by Cirno for some reason.

I've mentioned this in previous threads, but I had a dream where Yukari was talking to me, and for some reason I thought her voice was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard. Smooth, lovely and perfect.

So my attempt to have a Touhou dream last night failed.

Humorously enough, though, I had a Railgun dream instead. Misaka was being tsundere for me, and was sleeping over at my apartment. Eventually we were watching a movie and she snuggled up to me like "I-It's just cold, that's all..."

Saten made no appearance.

4 times I've had a dream involving having abusive parents, and Yukari saying something about 3 days...

Funny thing is I never really had abusive parents.

That's about it so far, they only really happen when I'm not REALLY into Touhou at the time.
