It doesn't affect anyone who was around to witness the true events, anyway, like Akyuu and Yukari.

Manipulating X is impressive, but not as impressive as creating X, since manipulating implies that you need X to exist for that power to even work.

Keine's ability is bullshit, she "hid the history" of the human village so "no humans would have ever settled there" but Reimu and Marisa clearly remembered the place and Sakuya even proves it's existance by telling about the mansion's furniture. Goddamn Yukari can even go as far as see through the border protecting the village from reality.

It would probably end up with a human (or something very close to a human) who has some special powers. Think Abe no Seimei, whose mother was a kitsune.

Remember: half-ghost and half-youkai do not LITERALLY mean "genetically 1/2 ghost" and "genetically 1/2 youkai". It means "in the in-between of human and ghost/youkai".

A half-ghost is a normal human with their soul outside their body. A half-youkai is a human who's lived abnormally long and is starting to become magical.

I forget where these are mentioned in canon, unfortunately. I believe half-youkai get a mention in PMiSS.

Even if Keine could outright erase things from existance when she consumes history, she still wouldn't be able to make something disappear entirely. If she erased something from history, it wouldn't exist in the present, thus making the removal of it in past history logically impossible.

So even in its most overpowered interpretation, Keine's ability is bound to leave "trace amounts" of history here and there that show something has been altered.
