Not being able to speak each other's language is like dealing with deaf-mutes, and japan happens to house alot of foreigners that can't speak japanese, so much that it can be a problem.

The same thing happens here in Canada, although not publicly displayed with a sign, many night clubs in the Vancouver area have a cap on east indians that are allowed in, my brother works as a bouncer for one and when there's a certain amount of east indians in, any more simply get turned away by claims that the club is full.

Japan's rapidly declining population + growing need for skilled workers given this decline would lead inevitably to Japan relying on immigration & foreign work. It seems minuscule now, but if Japan lets in unskilled labor & the wrong type of people (i.e. too many Nigerians), It'd probably end up much like the Orwellian shithole the UK is today.
