Good evening, /jp/, /a/non here.

Touhou characters show up in /a/ from time to time, to the extent where I can identify many more characters than is reasonable for somebody who's never touched the games. So I figured I'd rectify that.

I've heard that people just starting should start on PCB and I checked /rs/ for Perfect Cherry Blossom, but I had a couple questions. Are there English patches included, or do you need to install them separately. Second, there's a lot of files of different sizes, is there a particular one that I should choose?

Also, why is it at this time and not any other previous time that I wanted to investigate the games? Because just recently I came across the masterpiece known as Bad Apple.

(Or just point me to a "Touhou beginners" page or chart, we have that sort of stuff over at /a/, that works too.)

That was totally unnecessary.

The files on /rs/ should be the game containing the english patch, you'll probably have to execute the patch to translate it.

My PCB folder is 471 mb.

Can't say for sure why, but PCB seems to be the most well recieved by those I know :S

It depends on where you're getting it, I see ones with english prepatched more often, as for the size, i think the correct size ought to be around 470mb

Wahaha, bad apple...can't count how many times i listened to that, but its a meh song
