- Back to Kinzo's past. During WWII, he is on Rokkenjima when a woman called Beatrice Castiglioni arrives by submarine on the island. Kinzo starts losing his mind, the child ends up looking just like her mother. - The Tea party however takes place in a kakera where Yasu (and not Leon) is present. Events transpire as if in a normal game, but this time the adults put their minds together and solve the epitaph. Beatrice (most likely Yasu in drag) warns them that there's a bomb set to explode in there, Natsuhi freaks and pulls a gun on Eva, Eva accidentally kills her. Hideyoshi also kills Krauss, and then Kyrie and Rudolph go batshit insane and start killing everyone. In the end, Eva kills those two and hides in the Kuwadorian, thus surviving the explosion. IT IS HEAVILY IMPLIED THAT THIS IS THE ANSWER TO EPISODE 3. Bern states that she is not the Game Master of the Tea Party, so we can safely assume that what happens is the truth.

-The Beatrice Yasu envisioned at first looked like Gaap (in his twisted head). Then, he envisioned Beatrice as Claire (Will's waifu aka Minttrice), but he yet again changed his vision of her when (s)he found out that Battler likes women with golden hair and blue eyes. The final image settles as Yasu first sees the portrait.
- My personal theory is that Leon is a man and Yasu is a woman.
Well, it makes sense because if Natsuhi were to adopt the child, if it were a boy then it would assure its ascension to next clan leader. As a woman, it's useless. That's why I think Yasu's a woman and Leon's a guy. I might be wrong though. Even so, judging by Yasu's state of mind, gender doesn't really matter as he swaps personalities constantly.

You know, I postulated ages ago that in Epsode 3, Rudolph was probably the one who killed Rosa and Maria when he 'went to look for them', and after he died in a shootout with Hideyoshi, Kyrie snapped and started killing everyone else, but eventually died from her injuries.

Kind of nice to see my thinking semi-verified, but also a little depressing. Eva despite putting on airs of being a bitch, is actually one of the only adults on the island who isn't out of her goddamn mind. Hell, it's even been implied she intentionally misled Ange and let her believe she was the killer so Ange wouldn't have to know the truth.

Episode 7 stands apart from other episodes in that almost all the music is done by xaki and zts. Now xaki's stuff is okay and so is zts's but dai in my opinion really brings most of the quality music to Umineko and dai has what 1-2 new tracks. Hopefully we'll see more balance in the contributions in EP8.

I think what we might get for EP8 is Battler telling the full story. Whether it means that Kyrie and Rudolf are still murderers well really like you stated Bern's red kind of seals it...But we probably get a backstory from both Kyrie and Rudolf as well as finding out the truth Rudolf wanted to tell Battler and Kyrie since EP1.

Being 'reedemed' and being 'humanised' is kind of different. Takano was redeemed in higurashi since not only did we get to learn her backstory BUT she managed to be stopped before doing any of the killings as well as well as being able to get a happy future unlike the previous arcs.

I don't think that would happen for Kyrie and Rudolf's case. If the tea party is the truth then its already set in stone that both have died and thats that. What Battler will most likely do is tell the full story of the accident (with love this time) that will show both's backstory, full motivation and toughts that will help humanise them.

Here's a crack theory: Kinzo was a baker and Beatrice was an amazing souffle recipe. Kinzo made ten tons of gold off of selling Beatrice souffles, and then retired. Many years later, he forgot the recipe and but wanted to make the souffles again. Thus when Rosa stole the experimental souffle known as 1967 Beatrice and dropped it off a cliff, Kinzo was especially upset. When he remembered years after that, he created the epitaph as a riddle for anyone who wanted to make one for themselves. As for Battler's Beato, clearly she is a souffle made by whomever it was he sinned against. The final explosion is another attempt at making a Beatrice souffle gone wrong, resulting in the oven going kaboom.

Lyon (or however you want to spell his/her name), being the baby from 19 years ago, was presumably returned to the Fukuin House, and was raised there. At some point, Lyon found out about the whole adoption fiasco, created the 'Shannon' persona, and went to work for the Ushiromiya family. Then Shannon fell in love with Battler, but he left the family. Then Shannon fell in love with George, so Lyon created a 'Beatrice' persona to take on the lingering affection for Battler. For some reason this caused Shannon's persona to split, creating Kanon, who fell in love with Jessica.

You've got a lot of details incorrect. Leon/Yasu in the original world spent most of their life not realizing who they were. Shannon was constructed out of loneliness and wanting to be like another servant they admired. Beatrice was also originally constructed independently of any romantic relationships. Passing the feelings onto Beatrice happened before falling for George even came into the picture.
