When I download something with moonrunes I often get some strange marks in tags, instead of moonrunes, and I need to fix it myself. Moonrunes in file names are fine. I have Jap locale installed too. Running win7. Anyone have the same issue, or is it just me?

Parody works in Japan have some legal IP rights. Whether or not the work qualifies as a parody instead of being a direct sequel derivitive work is a matter for the courts to determine. In some cases, you and I can obviously see that it is not a parody but a continuation of the anime/manga story, and those cases are not legal. However, the japanese companies obvoiusly turn a blind eye to the doujins since you see company booths at Comiket....

It is important that you do not carry over your USA idea of copyright over to the Japanese idea of copyright. In the USA, the companies have both lobbied for laws as well as filed many lawsuits (that they should have lost) but won because the defendant didn't have the million dollars needed to defend his rights to the point where he would win after one or 2 appeals to higher courts. As a consequence, in the USA (as opposed to Japan) you have a preponderance of court PRECEDENTS where the corporate rights take precedence over those of the consumer. That is where many USA citizens get confused since they see they have rights and their thinking stops there. The correct thought is that the consumer has rights until the rights contradict those of established business entities whereupon precedence determines the result unless the consumer/defendant is willing to reopen the prior case by appealing his more recent case (and spending a ton of money).
