My theory is that the good or bad scenarios depend exclusively on the baby's gender.

When the baby's gender is female (Yasu), Nappi throws her down the cliff and she ends up in an orphange where she gets bullied and creates the alternate personalitiy of Shannon. Lately, she's sent back to Rokkenjima to work as a servant, falls in love with Battler and the rest we already know; also if she acknowledges Jessica as "half sister" we might now why she decides to create the Kanon personality as well, though I stand on the idea she just made up a good and an evil one.

Though, I don't think the chance for those two in particular to be the culprit is that low normally, but if it also coincides with Leon's existence, it might be.

I'm a little hesitant to say that this is -the truth-, but it's very obviously one of the many truths that can exist on Rokkenjima, depending on which way the roulette spins.

I thought that this episode would be where Umineko burned out, and that Ep 8 would be much more boring, but I'm really looking forward to reading Ep 7 and Ep 8. I really want to see where it's going with all of this.
