You're still a very good player for someone playing for such a short time. Although you might need to pay more attention to little things like your opponent's cards. You got hit by my catfishes quite a few times. Also, keep an eye on the weather and try to manipulate it to your advantage. My joke decks are a bit extreme example, but there are various ways to avoid disadvantageous weathers like letting your character fall to the ground when hit; this changes the next upcoming weather. You probably noticed I tried to get Typhoon as often as possible, since with Youmu or Cirno it's clearly an advantage against Meiling.

Sky Dragon Kick does quite a bit of damage, but since it only hits once and takes a while to recover from, a skilled opponent could turn SDK spam into their advantage, especially if they can dodge the attack (both Youmu and Cirno have small, low hitboxes when crouching, so chances are that's all that's needed to avoid a badly timed SDK). Nothing feels better than landing a spell like Youmu's Soul Cutting "Ascension to Nirvana" when your opponent is still recovering from their attack and thus completely unable to avoid it.

Good games, Winty! You weren't too bad at all. I noticed some advanced stuff such as j.5a (land) j.5a with Suika, and baiting 3a with Utsuho. That's a great start.

What I noticed is that you had a bad habit of air teching, didn't do any combos or blockstrings. Always try to get your opponents to block your bullets, not only would it do spirit damage, but it would also raise your card meter as well.

I'm not an expert on Utsuho's blockstrings, but I noticed that you never did Utsuho's guardcrush mix-ups such as 5aa6[a] or 5aa3[a]. If you successfully crush, you can easily get a 2k~ damage combo in.

For Suika, you should try approaching differently, I also find 66a 236b/c better than 66a 623b/c. 5aa 5b 236b is a great way to put your opponents into the corner. Watch out for reversal or DPs if you're staggering Suika's dial-a when they are blocking.

Border escaping is essential to fight a good Iku or Tenshi. Keep in mind that border escaping isn't limited to border escaping backwards. You can also border escape upwards by pressing 1, 2, or 3+dd during a blockstun. Suika has infinite back dash, so she can border escape and graze continuously.

Lastly, learn the mechanics of the game and know your character's moveset. Learn which attacks cancels into bullets/other attacks/skills. This will help very much in pressuring. Good luck.

Skill levels here variate quite a lot. You'll stand no chance against some players, but there are a lot of beginners around too. I'd say give it a try, learning the basics of this game doesn't take that long. If you can host yourself, all the better.

The tier lists change pretty often, and aren't even very useful because of skill cards and multiple decks, and the fact that no matchup in the game is so broken that winning would be impossible. Tiers shouldn't matter when thinking what characters you should play, although they do give some hint of what to expect. As for combos, there are some useful examples listed in that wiki as well.

Yeah, I really have no idea how to approach people at times. Most times I just blindly rush in with j.5a and get smacked with random bullets, but I should probably start using Okuu's 5C more often, since it covers the entire and takes out most bullets as well. But even that will become predictable if used too much.

I've practiced with her quite a bit, but never actually used her online. Guard-crushing with her seems to be very easily done, so I might try subbing her or something. Your Suika is pretty good as well, but you should try to predict where the enemy is going to roll, then throw a 5/6C cluster ball toward them, this will usually force them to block.

Anybody know a setup for Sakuya's Buriallusion card? I ignored it for ages then I saw somebody forcing blockstun and attempting a guardcrush with it, since it drains about 4 orbs and does a lot of chip.

There are moves like Yuyuko's 623B/C (the high-priority grazing melee move) that you don't want to fight against and just block and punish. Same thing goes for wake up: you are inherently at a disadvantage when you wake up and your opponent is near you, and trying to attack when you are at such a disadvantage is very very risky.
