It's not that she asks that her photos be 'shopped. Japanese cosplayers don't have their own photographer, they just get to pose (if they're lucky) for some random photographer.
This guy then proceeds to photoshop to perfection all the photos he took at the convention and publishes them on his own blog / portfolio.
