Really excited for the new Asuka figma. I might order Aigis while I wait, but I should really stop buying so many of them.

I've been away. Do we have any new figurine related announcements for Comiket? I'm just looking out for Touhou, and all I've seen so far is Figma!Sakuya. I was hoping we'd get at least something more.

I am crossing my fingers for a Reitaisai-outfitted Reimu PVC for Reitaisai SP. It's not like it's actually going to happen, but we can always hope.

I actually like it more than I thought I would. The figurine still has the generic moe face and that that's-gotta-hurt-pose, but I'm a sucker for Miku so I might get it. That was what I was thinking until I saw the 9000 yen price-tag.

What annoys me is that it could look a lot better if they made a few simple adjustments to it. There's nothing wrong with the paint or the detail work, but I feel it's been wasted on a weird/bad pose. I like the hair and her expression. If only the face wasn't so generic in style and her back wasn't twisted all the way like that. Couldn't she just have faced to the side while her hand outstretched like that?

I've been ordering figurines from a ll over the world for a few years and I have at best rages over scratched and damaged BOXES; the only figurines that ever broken whilst shipping were the box-less ones I brought second-hand in Tokyo. I wrapped them in clothing and stuffed them in my suitcase, but it obviously wasn't good enough; my Lum broke her ankle ;_;

The one that Toranoana released at Reitaisai7. Cost me an arm and a leg since I wanted it so bad and apparently there weren't that many.

It has a kinda derpy face and the paint job isn't that good... But the pose, the clothes and the overall design suits my tastes perfectly; It has that interesting mix of western and oriental design that makes Touhou stand out as a franchise. I absolutely love it, and while I'm not that fond of Aya this figurine is among my favorites in my collection.

I concur. I have a lukewarm interest in K-On and I have been waiting for that DO WANT figurine that would hopefully come out of the craze. This might be it; it's lovely. I prefer Yui as a character and was half-set on that Alter figurine of her but this one looks a bit more unique.

More like it's the only produced Aya that isn't T's or Griffon, so yes, it's the best. It was originally around 7 thousand yen at the event, and I think I payed like 9000yen for it which isn't /that/ bad, I guess. I only saw like three auctioned ever. But it's not like I have been stalking yahoo auctions everyday either.

Regardless, I'm very happy with it. Maybe it's not that high in quality, but just thinking that I will keep on loving it for many years makes me fuzzy inside, especially since it's a figurine of the somewhat rare kind.

I was half-considering getting all the figmas of the K-On girls since having the full band with all the instruments is really cool. But seeing that it would get pretty expensive I probably won't. Ritsu looks really nice; I hope they make the other girls as well; hopefully with their instruments.

I'm a bit confused about the K-On figurines so far. I like most of them, and the Alter ones are really nice; yet no-one of them has charmed me enough to actually buy them. The Max Factory Mugi might be an exception.

I had the same problem with the Lucky Styar girls; until Banpresto made those Macross cosplay figurines. I bought those like the first of the north star.

The reasons I'm considering Misaka is that while she's plain I still like it a lot, it's cheap, and I actually enjoyed Railgun a lot. But what I really want is an Uiharu figurine; her design is much more alluring.

I know I've posted this one already, and am really happy with it. However, are there people here with this figure? Because I have some concerns. Mainly about the material the frilly things are made from. They're really thin and therefor soft. How do I keep them from sagging in the future? I know I have to keep them out of the sunlight and away from heat. Is there anything else I can do?

They are GK identical to Griffon's first Sakuya and Remilia. I got them like a year ago; but I misunderstood the sellers description and they ended up costing the double to what I though they would. Construction for them took like half a year; way longer than promised. They turned out well, but after I got them I didn't feel inclined to display them at all because the whole affair had tired me out.

As for what I want, well, I'm bad with pre-orders but I want figma Sakuya and T's Sanae (who expensive, might I mention). Then there's old stuff long over-due like GiFT's Reimu and Kotobukiya's Osaka. I also want GSC's Misaka. I can't remember everything at the moment, sorry. But you should know; there's always stuff coming out that you want.

Good think I'll be working some before summer ends.
