Try Clannad next, it has NO porn and a decent (?) story, if you can pretend the main heroine isn't a cockroach. If you like action, you may want to try Fate/Stay Night. And those two games should take you a while if you don't marathon them.

Try also some mystery pieces, like the short doujin True Remembrance (that also fits with what you want). If you like it, play Ever17. Also, IMO you should at least try Nasu's masterpiece Tsukihime before you become too spoiled to new VNs, and that means play it before F/SN.
