I never understood the hate for the moon sisters, I mean they're from the fucking MOON, which was hyped to be some god tier civilization that could blow up gensokyo if they wanted to but never felt like it, so it shouldn't be srprising that the leading characters on the moon are overpowered as fuck

I might not be the best person in the world. might seem fickle and vain, an egocentric bastard who indulges in petty pleasures on a daily basis. I might never be able to redeem myself for my own ignominy.

Why are the moonbitches considered strong in the first place? Did anybody actually watch their battle. The moonbitches relied on their summons and moontech the whole time. If a 15 year old girl had a gun, I'm pretty sure she could defeat you. Would you then conclude she's stronger than you?

Even Cirno would be strong if she had a thousand gods helping her.

Reimu defeated Kaguya, Reisen, Mokou, and Eirin in one night. Eirin lost, even after receiving back up energy from Kaguya. Yet Yorihime defeated Sakuya, Remilia, Marisa, AND Reimu while relying on 0.00004% of her full potential. If Eirin was holding back, then Yorihime must have been play fighting with them. Eirin is clearly no match against Reimu or Yorihime. There's a reason why she's known as the brains of the moon and not the brawn.

Just contrast the way Yukari behaved in IN to the way she behaved in SSiB. In the case of IN, Yukari confronted Eirin face to face and even exchanged insults with Eirin. While in SSiB, Yukari had to cook up a giant plan. As seen with Yukari's close encounter with Shiki, Yukari acts strange when confronting opponents with powers formidable to her own.

Then again, we still don't know Yorihime's inherent powers because in SSiB she relied on her summons too much. If Yorihime fought against her master, Eirin, without her summons, she wouldn't stand a chance against her. And before you go there, the summons are unique to Yorihime according to CoLA and SSiB.

Not to mention the fact that Eirin is still just a human. The only reason why she has lived this long is because she has extended her life with drugs. And before you say she's not a human:
-She predated the existence of the Lunarian capital. Meaning she was born on the Earth, not the moon. Which also means she hasn't evolved with her fellow Lunarians (assuming they evolved in the first place).
-PMiSS says she's a human (i.e., earthling) twice.
-CoLA claims that the first Lunarians were humans that built a civilization with no impurities, thus allowing them to live forever--under the circumstance that they stayed pure.
-Eirin no longer lives on the moon.
