Unfortunately, no. Like I said, this was at White Canvas around a week ago, and all three of them were sitting on the table by the register. They were holding up a couple of signs...but like I said, I didn't have my camera or else I could have gotten a picture.

The Kogasa one has her normal colors and the eyes, with her tongue sticking out and her giant obnoxious purple umbrella...and that also had a big tongue. It looked pretty good, so I thought it might have been part of the Nendoroid plush series or, more likely, the GIFT fuwa fuwa series. Okay, I understand this is Gensokyo we're talking about and this may be a bit too science-nerd for /jp/, but IRL a "control rod" is a big rod of inert elements that can absorb neutrons (neutron radiation) without undergoing fission. They are used to limit the rate at which the uranium/plutonium is undergoing fission, and are a big part of preventing meltdowns. Nowadays, reactors are set up so that if shit starts to get out of hand, the control rods are dumped into the reactor and absorb all of the neutron radiation, halting the reactor's fission.

What does this mean for Okuu?

I'm guessing it probably means that she *wouldn't* passively emit radiation with her control rod on, and that if she tries to use her powers without it, THEN you'd get runaway reactions and bathed in delicious gamma rays.

At least, that's how it would probably work if our science holds true in Gensokyo.

Also, none of the hats that can be bought in Gensokyo are deemed as silly. Most have to be custom made. The only exception to not having a hat is if you're not originally from there or have some sort of biological aspect to your head that is deemed "silly," such as ears or horns.
