Even if enemies come near Sunny, they can't see her. She can still flee.

Also, Sunny is the only fairy I've seen in touhou who can shoot (real) lasers (at the speed of light, not just elongated bullets).

star knows about incoming persons beforehand, therefore she can leave before being discovered. and you can't surprise attack her.

illusions and lasers are nice, but fairies are weak and they are better off runing away from conflict.

I'm always wondered about who would win a fight between Yukari and Yuyuko.

Yuyuko: "The ability to manipulate death literally means the ability to kill someone with no resistance. " -PMiSS
Yukari: "The ability to manipulate boundaries... capable of fundamentally undermining reality... comparable even to the power of gods...not limited to physical space " -PMiSS

Technically, Yukari should be able to nullify Yuyuko's ability to instantly kill anything, due to Yukari's control over "The border between life and death".
In practice, however, it's questionable wether Yukari would be able to react quickly enough to survive Yuyuko's instant death ability. Chances are even she wouldn't be able to regain her life after being thoroughly killed.

Yukari is easily the most versatile and "powerful" of the two, but it would be unwise to underestimate Yuyuko's frightening abilities. I think that's why Yukari and Yuyuko are friends.
In my opinion, no other being comes close to these two in gensokyo.

This thread is a perfect example of why people hate powerlevel threads. Having taken part in every powerlevel thread worth mentioning on /jp/, I can tell you why this thread was a failure:

-First of all, you DON'T declare powerlevel threads. Powerlevel threads are like art; meaning, they are born, not produced. Think of it as an adjective with a stigma, not a noun.
-Secondly, in a powerlevel thread you must decide which characters it'll be about, otherwise you'll attract a bunch of hyperactive kids from /a/ posting /m/ and /co/ material. (This is not to say the discussion has to be limited to a few characters.)
-Finally, the forefathers of the original powerlevel threads ratified a treaty that forbid the creation of powerlevel threads between 05:00 - 16:00. The reason for this was obvious. The people who discuss powerlevels are the type of people that will stay up 4 to 5 hours past their bedtime arguing about cartoons fighting cartoons. The morning/evening is usually the time when they fall asleep from previous arguments. And to them, nothing is more cowardly than creating a powerlevel thread while they're sleeping.
