When was the last time you saw the doctor?

It's for your health you should visit the doctor atleast once every 3 months.

>> No.5819768

If we're talking about an actual doctor, about 10 years ago.

Went to the dentist last year and to the optometrist a few months ago, though.

What?
You should only visit a doctor if you're dying
Otherwise is ridiculous

You must live in the U.S. (as I myself do); I hear it isn't financial suicide to visit doctors in other countries.

As is the case with most places, American doctors are considered better / waiting times are generally less but you have to pay for it. Here it's free, but there are some sacrifices to be made.

All the doctors are ugly, the healthcare is sub-par, and the waiting is about 2 hours.

>> No.5819874

>>5819859
Well like waiting times might be longer. Since you don't have to pay for an MRI scan, everyone can get one, thus the waiting period is longer versus the US. Also I think if a doctor messes up somehow you can't get extreme amounts of cash in a malpractice lawsuit or something.

Not to mention a lot of great doctors from here (and lots of other countries I'm sure) go to the US for work because they'll be getting paid a lot more, but that's the case with a lot of careers.

It's not funny. I haven't had a checkup in 3 years. Though I'd be lying if I said that it was solely because of that incident, I just don't like going out and wasting time for a stupid checkup.

Especially since you're like perfectly healthy before you go to the doctors, and come out feeling like shit when they tell you that you have anemia and you're malnourished ;_;

I'm not good with thinking on my feet when it comes to social interaction. It's bad enough I sometimes mash up my words into a jumble of incomprehensible nonsense sometimes, even though it came out perfectly in my head.
