Is there a list of recommended decks around or a save with good setups for all characters? I'm thinking about actually playing some multiplayer here, but the whole deck construction aspect just annoys me and I don't want to go through testing/figuring out every single card to figure out which ones are actually decent. Why would I mind? Utsuho is one of the most frustrating matchups for Cirno after all. Well, at least it'll teach me to plan my attacks more carefully instead of mashing Icicle Sword.

Isn't that kind of the point? After all, if I didn't do anything stupid and instead played perfectly, you really couldn't hit me at all. With Cirno's pathetic melee range, I won't try my luck poking against Utsuho's press.

If you're wondering why I only used Icicle Sword against your Utsuho, it's because I really need to practise my combos. It yields a lot more damage than Ice Charge which I normally use, and since it can be used in the air at lv1 it's pretty nice for finishing aerial combos too. Although I noticed that if I didn't get a limiting combo, you'll recover too fast for me to be able to continue my press any further.

Utsuho is strong and has decent range, but she is very slow and whiffy, so playing against her is like fighting some powerful but unruly and clumsy monster. You are the one controlling the battlefield, and she can just hope you make a mistake, because if you do, you take lots of damage. That kind of fighting is frustrating for both sides.

Ustuho has ridiculously long melee range compared to Cirno's shortest melee of the game. Longer ranged attacks are often too slow and will get 5A'd. Cirno's bullets are very fragile and are easily countered by a fireball. An exception is Icicle Lance, which eats through Utsuho's fireball, Hell Wave Cannon and other powerful attacks.

I don't say it's a broken matchup, but it requires a ridiculous amount of concentration to avoid a 3K+ combo because of a small slip. GGs. I don't want to sound like a broken record, but you too need to block more. When waking up from the ground, your best bet is to block, since you won't have time to hit with anything else than a reversal, and if you try to escape, you'll often get hit by your opponent's melee.

Also, using those spellcards whenever is a bad idea. Sure, I got caught in a few, but usually you'll be the one to take damage if you don't plan your spells properly.

Generally, it felt like you were fighting me the same way you'd fight a CPU opponent. Try to avoid that.
