Any expert Pangya players on /jp/?

I see way too many people online who know how to chip in perfectly, so I better wise up and learn how to do the same (it'd help in the Wii version too). My main problem is factoring the wind and counting the tiles accordingly. These links offer some insight, but still leave me hanging for one reason or another.

For now, my main question is this. What is the difference of counting tiles to calculating power in yards? I understand that different clubs = different offsets for every 1 m of wind, but I don't know how to factor that into the overall distance.

Ex. 210 yard distance for hole (+ 10 for power shot for 220) + 5 yard difference in height (meaning it's higher) = 225. Subtract 3 yards for compensation of backspin. Now, assume the wind is 4m SE exact (going against the hole). How do I factor that into the problem?

i tried to get back into it, the only people who talk are BR and get under par every hole, i can play a tournament in the rookie server and all of them get hios on par 3's like it doesn't mean anything anymore.
fuck, this is why i play with bros only, too bad none of mine want to play after they changed over from ogplanet

This is true.

I kinda wanted a solo Pangya mode because of it. The only reasons I picked up the online version are for Lucia since the Wii lacks her, and because of upcoming Nell (whenever she debuts in English). I haven't even bothered to try the S4 courses or anything.

Of course, everything costs an arm and a leg online, so it only further complicates the system.

I tried picking it back up but quit immediately, I do pretty damn decent just playing by feel, but it's just frustrating playing against all the calculators. At least with Ntreev they allow you to actually discuss formulae on their forums so the information is fairly accessible to everyone, but playing that way just makes the game work instead of fun. If I want to crunch numbers I'll play some shitty browser strategy game instead.

What I always found funny was that I'd be so much better than most players at putting; for all the calcfags being in a putting situation in the first place means they already failed, they apparently don't even try when they have to putt.

I refuse to turn this game into trigonometry homework and I dislike other people who do. If i play against someone who calculates their shots it's either they win or I join them in turning the game into trigonometry homework. Either way takes everything fun in the game and sucks the life out of it.
