As for Maria loving Rosa... well, as I recall from spoilers, the Maria in that Ep6 scene is MARIA, as Sakutaro is alive for her. For Piece-Maria, Sakutaro is dead and it's all Rosa's fault and Rosa deserves to die for being a terrible, terrible mother. You can't tell me you've forgotten Ep4 already.

Note that I am not saying Maria actually DID kill her mother, but rather that she COULD. Everyone except Battler has a 'reason' to commit murder. Hell, I'm not even sure Battler doesn't.

Hell, she even went down a window in the middle of the storm!

I don't think so, she fell in love with George after she was "betrayed" by Battler forgetting the promise and not returning for 6 years. Battler returning unexpectedly probably just made her want to make him remember the promise, not out of love but hurt feelings.
When Battler remembers though, the spiteful Shannon started to remember why she loved Battler (symbolized by Beatrice the younger) and the Beatrice part of soul acquires the same "weight" as Kanon and Shannon.

"Personalities" in Umineko can exist just due to the others perceiving a person in a different manner. That's explained very early on by George while talking about Jessica. It's not red text obviously, but I don't see why he'd use that weird concept for personality if Ryukishi weren't planning to use it. So, they don't need to be actual internally distinct personalities.

If you consider that, then multiple "personalities" aren't actually unbelievable in this scenario. They just mean that people perceive a single person with multiple personalities, effectively making that person into multiple ones for the red text.
