You can still submit logo's for the website. Make sure it's 300x100 and I'll make sure it's in the rotation. Lets see some of that /jp/ creativity.

Point out any problems you have with V2. It's still being worked on, and if there are any major problems we'll just switch to the old version.

I uploaded a lot of j-core, but stopped because it's clearly not a universal taste and I had no idea how well it was received.

Also the maintainers kept skipping the awesome japanoise tracks I uploaded, even when I added them in moderation. I don't think it gets much more weeaboo than Dissecting Table and Government Alpha, but fuck, what do I know? I'll see if they've done any Touhou mixes and upload those.

Some people disliked it, but I think most of the hate for it came from the fact that most tracks are 8+ minutes long, and there were a lot of them requested. They're fine, just don't request them so much that /jp/ radio becomes ravecore radio.

Some j-core tracks have been uploaded and played recently, and nobody gave any problems about them. Most recent one I remember before Return Of Vuvuzela was Madotsuki's porch, I think. Or some track from 24 Effects, forgot the name.

Sorry, these tracks just literally hurt my ears. I don't even hear a beat in them, just a bunch of random ear hurting noises put together. No offense, just can't find that enjoyable at all, and imagine it drives most people to mute their players. J-core is okay though.

I don't think it's skipped for being non-/jp/, it's Japanese. I find it annoying though, that's probably why. J-core is perfectly fine, but I don't even know what genre Government Alpha is. Googling them tells me they're "harsh noise" which is exactly what I would think that genre would sound like, if it is a genre.

Techno or other heavy sounding songs are fine with me though.

The current track is perfectly fine with me. I've never had a problem with these kinds of tracks, just best if they're not constantly requested next to each other. Said it before in other threads, but it's better to have variety since different people with different tastes listen in. Just because they're not requesting doesn't mean they want to hear the same genre for long periods of time.

When you go to the main site, you can upload the songs you want. They're not automatically added to the queue, you have to request them shortly after. Each person is limited to 2 requests per 10 minutes, and when a song is requested a 300 minute limit is placed on it before it can be requested again.

It's not just a random cluster of uploaded songs really. The songs are also moderated, and you can vote to skip a song if I'm away from the computer to play games or read a VN or something.

I haven't gone to /a/'s current radio station, so I don't know how they run things over there.

Oh yes, we have DJ Clumsy Moe come on every now and then to do live mixes. He usually does his mixes on the weekends.

Boof hasn't done it in quite a while, but occasionally he might pop in and start his own stream where he plays his own songs.

If the main stream goes down and I can't get it up, I usually set up my own stream where I play my own playlist of songs and manually take requests.

Well, the stream maintainers do post with us here. I don't find it necessary for them to talk on the stream and interrupt the music. Pyonta-kun is the admin and Stalker is like co-admin or something, they take shifts watching the thread and stream, and usually respond to us quickly.

Meh. Not really sure how to respond to this, but Stalker and Pyonta do add personality to their posts every now and then. Nobody has been after Pyonta for a while though, so Stalker hasn't posted her Yandere reactions in a few threads.

They've talked on the stream before as well, but it wasn't anything too special.

I'm the lazy admin, by the way. I basically just post trollface.jpg in the server and try and spook pyonta by opening the disk drive. Stalker and pyonta do so much work that there isn't anything left for me to do.

The site hiccupped right when I submitted the title/artist/album info for the song I uploaded, and now the info is a bit borked. Kinda unfortunate.

Ah, right, since Pyonta's main server is relaying off me, everyone who's relaying off him is also catching my stream. Most of the relays posted >>5744661 should catch my stream fine.
