All closed room scenarios in Umineko can be solved by using tunnels. Tunnels aren't secret passages, they are holes in things that lead to other things. Make tunnel, murder some folks, seal tunnel up.

The outcome was never in doubt. Tunnel technology is insurmountable.

To avoid creating a new thread, I have a couple of questions\observations from Jessica's trial.

First. Battler is afraid of vehicles, like Asumu was. But Kyrie thinks Asumu was just pretending, not to mention Battler is not Asumu's son. Yet I can't believe Ryukishi mentioned this trait of Asumu for no reason.
Second. Kyrie says her hell was going on for 18 years. It is implied her hell had started with Battler's birth and the other child's death (when she supposedly lost all her chances to win), and it is logical to conclude that it had ended with Asumu's death. But 18 years since Battler's birth is obviously the year Umineko takes place and Asumu died 6 years ago. Wat. It is possible the "hell" began earlier, but I didn't get such an impression from her monologue.

As things stand, Rudolf could perhaps be the biggest jerk in Umineko.

Thus far we already KNOW that he's lied to Battler about his real mother this whole time.

But this could be even worse. He could be keeping this fact a secret from Kyrie(Keeping secrets from the yandere, not so good), and potentially, he could be keeping the whole thing a secret from his OTHER child, if it yet lives.

No wonder he said he was going to die, I would have lynched him too.

Sayo is Beatrice.

Kinzo contracted Beatrice, the golden witch, for all the gold on the island.

Kinzo is giving the gold to Sayo basically.

Now what could drive a man to give a servant his wealth on his death bed?

Sex. Sayo was Kinzo's sex toy, he used her for all his deprived wishes and when death approached he realized how broken he had made her, and feeling a tinge of empathy, decided to give his fortune to her while playing along with her fantasy of being a witch.

That's Kyrie-talk, which I don't trust.

No, no, look at it not as Natsuhi trying to trick everyone, but in this sense.

Natsuhi can't get pregnant, let's say Krauss is infertile or that she is barren, one of the two.

Rudolf gives them one of his children, with the understanding that they'll say it was theirs.

Revealing that they adopted a bastard child from Rudolf or simply that they adopted at all would have negative effects, so they simply tell the rest of the family that Natsuhi got pregnant.

It's magic! Which is to say, a lie, but hardly a bad one.
