Hello. You all my recall my epic closed room mystery from yesterday. I'm glad someone else has taken up the ring and mantle of territory lord and willing to GM a game.

Some pointers:
1. If you want this to be the witch's game, say so.
2. If not the witch's game, you shouldn't try to fool or trick the player.
3. All that is needed to solve the mystery must be presented in the scenario.

Bah, I'll take my own shot. For convenience just assume spoilers are the red truth.

A man was stabbed on a train car. There were no witnesses. His body was discovered in the morning. It was not a suicide. He was stabbed by another person. Nobody saw the perpetrator leave or enter the car and he has yet to be identified. The murder weapon was not recovered and the blade was wiped clean judging by the bloodied rag next to the victim. 'The doors have not been tampered with and no windows have been broken. A thorough examination of the car did not reveal the culprit hiding anywhere in it.

The victim was found dead two days after the crime by the police
The camera captured the culprit, but he couldn't be identified
The video shows the victim walking in the door direction, some seconds later he comes back followed by the culprit
It shows them chatting for some minutes, and when the victim turned around the culprit shot him in the back
The culprit walked to the door and nothing else happened until the police showed up

The windows and the doors were locked
Once closed, the main door is automatically locked and can only be opened with a key
The door inside the room has an eletronic locker, with keypads on both sides

A key was found in the victim's pocket, which can be used to open the door
The victim's wife was interrogated, but no evidences where found

There's too many alternative truths left open in your scenario.

1. The wife opened the door from the outside to let the murderer out.
2. The murderer knew or had the code the electronic lock which enabled him to retrieve the key, unlock the door, use something to hold it ajar while he returned the key and left.

Both of these alternative truths invalidates one clue -- if #1, then the key in the electronically locked room is meaningless. If #2 then the fact of the wife having a copy of the key is meaningless.

Money. The red bicycles are playing cards. The dispute was over a fake ace.

The wife had two days to return to her mother's house, or the murderer had two days to return the key

>The culprit did not knew the code of the electronic lock

I will not ask you to repeat that there are only two people in the entire room at the time of the murder, as you've not given any evidence of a third person present thereby attempting to hide something from the player.

Since there are only two people present at the time of the murder, you've effectively sealed off the electronically locked portion of the room entirely. If the victim opened it for the murderer and proped it open there is no evidence of such a strange action so therefore must be discarded since the game master is assumed to be dealing in good faith.

Sounds plausible, but how do we know the meido saw those posts? easymodo should be able to archive them in a fast enough timeframe, unless easymodo is impared somehow(ddos, network issues, ...). Is is possible that the thread contained a bug that caused easymodo not to archive itself (deleting op's image does that)?

Another possibility for why the meido saw the posts would be someone reporting them, however, since no anons saw them, it means that no other anons than the culprit could have reported them. Did the culprit report his own posts shortly after he made them?

Blue: It was a time of that when nobody was around or paying attention. Even if somebody was around, it would be possible that the poster was someone vile or the content was so bad that it hit whoever was online's filters (for example: anontalk-like spam).

Blue: Another possibility would be that the maid was not killed by a post. The anon used some external means relating to the /jp/ frontpage. I can't think of any except making a rule-breaking post and reporting it yourself. The meido sees it, deletes it and is defeated.

What about posting in an older thread, saging one's own post, and reporting one's own post. That way nobody except other janitors see it, and easymodo doesn't archive it instantly.

So far we have: a meido was killed by a post done on /jp/'s front page when everybody was paying attention, and there wasn't a chance that the post wasn't seen or archived. However, the meido was killed by a post. This means that it must have been a post that nobody would have suspected it would kill the meido, or maybe it was more than one post. Maybe, /jp/ was so bad at that hour that it drove the meido mad and she ragedied ;_;

Yet you say,
>>>/rs/To anyone who saw it,
>>>/rs/the post was an obvious attack on the meido.

This would be a logic error, unless the only ones who saw the post was the attacker and the meido.
At the same time, the other reds say that anyone who sees the post (and the chance for the post to be seen is very high) would have identified it as an attack on the meido, however nobody did such thing, and nobody saw the post.

I call logic error, unless you want to go in the territory of defining a "meido's death" and "meido's body as identified by mugen and what it is".

>> No.5709340

>>5709257
It's not a logic error.

Answer: AM and PM on the board isn't defined and it isn't 24 hour either. So there are two 6:00 board times, only one of these times has the post that killed the meido

And for the answer
FLAME AWAY

The culprit's a friend of the victim and knew about the spare key, but he never met the wife

The camera is on top of the door, so it doesn't capture what's happening below it and near the wall
The electric door wasn't locked, it has to be locked manually on the numpad simply hitting 'Enter' while the door's closed
The culprit went into that room and got the key to open the door
Using his shoe, he kept the main door open and put the key back on the room, locking the electronic door and them leaving
The main door was locked when the culprit closed it

>If the victim opened it for the murderer and proped it open there is no evidence of such a strange action so therefore must be discarded since the game master is assumed to be dealing in good faith.
The door wasn't left open for the purpose of murder

>-The electronic lock was left open so the murderer could just go in?
