Not really. It turned out I actually had a couple spare Facebook accounts, and once you've joined the mousepad group and got a handful of friends in it, the friend requests just roll on in.

Let's all make proxy facebook accounts explicitly for the purpose of getting more mousepads and friend one another. I'm sure we can come up with like 50 anons who would want to. Come up with really random names that would searchable on the network, and find one another. Does that sound good?

I ordered a custom mousepad for three bucks + free shipping a year or so ago and didn't have to suffer the indignity of having a facebook account.

So how's the quality of the mousepad? Do the image fade?

I've had one from them for 2-3 years and it's not the best quality in the world but not terrible at all either.

The quality of it gets pretty not-nice looking after a few months from the mouse use and the image basically fading into the black behind it the more you use it. Plus if you get it wet at all, even just a drop of water or something, any black on it will "smear" and stain the thing forever.

They aren't amazing but for free or for 3 bucks like mine were its not bad at all.

the pads on my mouse are part of the issue in my case I think.

I tend to put my glass on there sometimes for like a few seconds while i move my keyboard if I'm going to eat or something, and that little bit of moisture ends up getting on the pads and getting rubbed all around the mousepad.

Yeah, but looking at it more closely I should have positioned the image better.
