Someone said in the other thread that Attack Operations amongst other songs were out. If you're reading this, do you know what tracks replaced them? or did you just check that those weren't in the data files?

Mangagamer should be nice and leak a song list so the music patch can be done effortlessly and instantly... cm'on, just pretend you're an anon with a lot of free time... that's the least you can do, after raping the bgms that badly.

Also Takano is missing a couple which is why she sometimes has her mouth open as if shouting when she isn't speaking. Tomitake is missing a few. All his casual clothes sprites are varying degrees of smiles so I thought it would be weird but it didn't turn out so bad. Okonogi was missing one with him in military uniform similar to tomitake's. Hanyu's school uniform sprites are the only major thing really and even that doesn't seem so bad when you're reading. I'll release a final fix which corrects some backgrounds in a while and will probably leave this as is then.
I probably won't do a sprites only patch as it doesn't seem that popular. All you would need to do is use extract data on both the original and my data02000.arc, pick out the sprites, put them the extracted files from the first .arc, remove the file extensions and download the bgi tools and use arccreate.exe to pack them.

Ok, I extracted everything. However, the extension of the files extracted from your patch is different from the ones of the original file. The original is listed as (.png) and yours is not listed at all. If both files are droped in the same folder, it don't even replace, so I have to delete the undesired ones manually.

However, I extrctd it again, this time e selecting all files inside the data02000, right clicking with the mouse and selecting the 4th option. This time I got the files without any extension. Is how it should be?

>> No.5691691

Ah, finished and "tested". By "tested" I obviously mean I just looked the first sprite I can find in-game and confirmed it is the PS2 version.

Anyway, I will just upload as it is now. As I play I see if I didn't make any obvious fluke. Since I haven't changed any file name the worse thing it can happen is the game crash due to lack of image, I believe. Hopefully something easy to fix.

>> No.5692097

As it was already said, the PS2 version had some differences from the PC, so some sprites were missing. They were replaced by the closest equivalent so no old sprite will (should) appear.

For information, this includes all Hanyuu's school uniform sprites (she is shown with her Miko costume insted) and all Akasaka's cool fighting stances (just two sprites now, sadly). There is another stuff too, but pretty minor.

It is important to note this patch is largely untested. Please report error you may find and I will try to fix it. I do not guarantee I will be able, though.
