Religious law is not equal to state law. I support the right of someone to wear something because the religion they believe in says they should.
I support the right of someone to wear something that has significance to a religion, even if they don't follow that religion themselves, if they want to.
I do not support a state law that outright forces everyone to not wear a certain clothing item.

The main problem with this comic is it does nothing to explain why hair, lower legs, and forearms are "hijab". No one in our society would consider showing your legs below the knee or arms below the elbow scandalous at all, not even 50 years ago. This has worse reasoning than some of the more Batshit Umineko theories. It's so offensive to female sexuality.

Since nobody's pointed out the obvious yet, the LOGIC ERROR occurs when she declares when she says it gives women the freedom to choose to cover up.

However, it goes logically like this = Is Muslim & Female = True then Hijab = True. And in most cases, If Born Into Muslim Family = True, Is Muslim = True.

A lot of people have different definitions of exactly what choice is, but it's clear there's no room for choice here, in principle. The vast majority of girls born into a Hijab wearing muslim family(which seems to be the norm nowadays, sadly), will end up wearing a hijab. A choice that is made for you is not your choice.

Also, if you're not flat chested YOU WILL BE STARED AT ANYWAY. And the argument for covering up hair makes no sense, and is such a blatant covering of one of the most important parts of the body used in self expression. It's just too much of a coincidence that they find it "too sexual".
