Once again, I cannot see for the life of me why MG would want to pick up Kara no Shoujo- they are the ones who were going to pick it up, right? It just wouldn't be a profitable title. It didn't have a popular anime adaptation, and it's not some random sex romp. At first glances it's all GRIMDARK, which would instantly turn people off. I don't know, this all vaguely reminds me of when Jast decided to release some yaoi titles. Their first choices were Enzai and Absolute Obedience- both hardcore BDSM titles, with Enzai having things like pissing fetishes. At the time they were horrendously poor sellers, and it's not surprising to see why. Do MG seriously think that they can make a profit from Kara no Shoujo?

That would depend on the company and the circumstances of the talks. We know Kara no Shoujo would be done through MangaGamer. 0verflow was at the MangaGamer booth at AX, so it wouldn't be a huge surprise if they went with MangaGamer as well if a deal is made. As to minori, the odds of any deal coming out of that are remote, so who cares.

Haven't seen it mentioned but it's worth noting that Makoto was caught at work doing unrelated shit (ie: translating muramasa on the laptop), so they limit his usage of computers at work. HOWEVER Makoto is such a hero, that no one can hold him back from translating, so he printed out the script on paper and translating it by handwriting now. Truly commendable.
