Sakura is actually the most useless one for the duration of the VN. Saber fights for you and protects you, Rin teaches you magic and cooperates with you, while all Sakura does is cause trouble all the time. Even with housekeeping, which is supposed to be her strong point, she just ends up being a bother to Shirou, since she insists on helping even when it's clear she's causing more damage than she's doing good.

After the war is over and all, I guess it'd be a little more useful with a housewife type character than a mercenary and a bitchy teacher, but by then, you should have already killed her for being an annoying bitch.
