Why does Ange hate virgins?

She was raped. She's ashamed. She wishes she was a virgin but isn't. She wants to convince herself that virginity is something bad and something to be hated.

Who cares?

I see spiders as bugs. I could scientifically classify them, or I could refer to them casually.

In casual speech, or in writing, it is acceptable scorpions, spiders, ticks, mosquitoes, flies, beetles, bees, wasps, ants, roaches, termites, collectively, as BUGS.

In a scientific classification, I may refer to them more precisely.

But where I too write about it in a novel, visual, or otherwise, or in dialog, I would not hesitate to have a character with ticks all over them say "THERE ARE BUGS ALL OVER ME BRO. ARRGH FUCK."

I go with this definition:
Arthropod, or "bug", is an invertebrate animal having an exoskeleton, a segmented body, and jointed appendages.

I tend to opt out on defining Lobsters, Crabs, et al, from that.

But really, its not worthy of correction.

It took me awhile but I finally pieced together the last arguments.

I remain exhausted and mentally deficient at the moment. But here's what I have.

1. Battler is in the Closed Room. (Battler is defined as Battler1, The son of Rudolph and Kyrie and Battler2, the daughter of Rudolph and Asumu, Jessica.) Thus there are two people in the room.

2. Two Explanations of Kanon's "escape"

2a. Kanon's real and actual name is shared or can be read using the same characters as one of the other victims of the first twilight. (There are tons of different spellings for the names. It's possible some permutation of the name Kanon offered is the same as some permutation of the name of one of the victim). Thus he's already in a room that he can walk out of any time.

2b. Kanon's real and actual name is Sayo. Shannon and Kanon are, in fact, the same person. Thus when we have it confirmed that Shannon is in escapable room, she just escapes and there are no problems.

What is material is: By this trick, Kanon is either inside the mansion already and just leaves one of the sealed rooms, or he is Shannon and is already in a room that is not confirmed sealed.

3. Erika is Not An Actual Person or a Personality of Jessica (Battler2).

Thus, Erika = 1 or 0 people (body) Kanon=1 person (body) Battler = 2 people (bodies).

So we get.

Two people are in the room to begin with:
Battler1
Jessica(Battler2)
Kanon enters the room and breaks the chain.
Battler1 and Kanon leave the room.
Battler2 resets the chain and hides somewhere that is not the closet.

Thus Kanon disappears by "magic" and is no longer in the room. Neither is one of the Battlers. Jessica(Battler2) remains in the room, Trollface set to Maximum.

You just got to think of one thing.

Which one of these theories actually fit the game?
Which one help solve the various mysteries of the previous games?
Which one fits the whole thematic that R07 imposed since the beginning?
Which one did he basically FUCKING HAMMER since the very beginning of this game?

>> No.5622401

I'd wanted to deny Shkannontrice as long as possible, but when I realized just what Beatrice's final move was, I had to applaud R07 for taking a such a boring and predictable truth and turning it into an awesome plot twist.

As much as I loved Erika getting mindfucked, though, Kanon doesn't exist therefor Battler(p) can't escape the room therefore Battle(GM) cheated and it's still a Logic Error. He just found some other impossible explanation that's possible with the existence of Kanon.

My argument has one final support which is that the truth does have multiple interpretations and that this is currently a possible solution.

That is to say:
Shannon is Kanon is possible.
Shannon is Kanon is more than just merely possible. It is supported in a ton of ways.
Shannon is Kanon is a near certainty.
There is huge support for this. The death in episode 3 (Both Shannon and Kanon are killed by the same method). That a unique body cannot be found for Kanon in two of the games but we are promised that he is dead. The entirety of Episode 6 and a great solution to the closed room.
But, there is another solution.
It is Possible that Kanon's real name is not Sayo.
It is Possible Kanon and Shannon are two distinct people.
It is Possible that they are not the same person.
There is support for this. I offer it to you.
That the entire extended family recognized Kanon as having been present at other Family Conferences. All of the characters recognize that Kanon has been around and that he is working there for years (he predates his useful purpose for murder).
That both him and Shannon have been present before a large number of people at the same time (EP5, Revenge after 19 years-- they are in the same room during Natsuhi's confession). In this instance, the Detective Is Present And Apparently Can See Through Disguises.
The entire on-island family and all of the servants would need to lie and say "Kanon exists" for years, even while Kinzo was still alive.

Thematically, there are a few interesting things presented in this story.

The first is the Cheese Riddle. Where 1 slice is all that is needed to create the 8 pieces of cheese. There are two numbers in this problem, 1 and 3. We can see the problem as a metaphor, where one person, by creating alternate versions of themselves, is able to represent three people.

But then we get something interesting later.

Erika talks about her boyfriend who she believed cheated.
She had 82 pieces of evidence to point to it.
He had 6 pieces of evidence to deny it.

There was so much more evidence for Erika's theory-- but the question remains:
Did he cheat?
And the truth is: We don't know. We could guess that its what the evidence points to. But its still possible he didn't.

There is so much evidence that points to them being the same person, in fact, 82 to 6... I would think its about that ratio.
But there is some evidence that they may be different people.

The real question is:
Are there 17 people including Erika? (Shannon and Kanon count for 1)
Or are there 17 people not including Erika? (Shannon and Kanon count for 2)

We do not have the red to prove the point. What we are doing is what Erika did-- we are weighing evidence.

And this, is what I believe is the heart of Umineko.

Multiple truths that exist in parallel until they are put to rest. Until that one truth is revealed the other does still exist.

And because that final Red Text can be interpreted in two ways, the truth that "Shannon is not Kanon, they are two distinct people. There is a word Game with Furudo Erika and whether or not she counts as a person." exists in parallel to "There is no word game. The real number of people other than Erika on the island is 16. Kanon is Shannon"

I think the next game is going to show us the second possibility-- that Shannon is Kanon. It's going to brutally do everything in its power to expose that. It is the truth that I believe Featherine has arrived at.

If there is to be one more game, a possible focus would be "Sorry. That's not true. They are different people. We will prove it. Everything about there can only be one successful relationship was not said in Red. That could be the games Final Truth.

I currently see that last ambiguity in the 17 or 16 people as the option to surprise us at the very end.

Or this could all be entirely wrong.

Still, its possible that Shannon is Kanon is not true, though its a hard argument to make.

Erika adds 1 to the head count of episode 1, therefore she exists.
