I've always believed that it was impossible to love a non-existent person, such as someone from an anime or a manga. I always thought "what's the point? They'll never exist, so there's no point."

However, last year, I watched this anime called Railgun. One of the main characters of the show is called Saten, and ever since I finished it, I've spent hours on end saving pictures of Saten. Sometimes I stopped to question myself about just why I was saving pictures of a 2D person, yet I continued doing so.

I've realised now, though, just why I was doing this. I've finally realised, /jp/, I'm in love. In love with a 2D character. In love with Saten.

I, like many of you, suffer from problems. My problems don't involve any of your implausible ones, but mine are worth voicing to you in hope of getting some advice. Anyways, I began to watch Railgun about a month ago, and as I dove deeper and deeper into the series, the more and more I fapped to hentai of it. I continued to do so until the last episode. Then I watched the series again...and again... and again... I found myself checking out Saten every on-screen moment she had. I began to stop going to my regular sites just to look at hentai of one person: Saten. I eventually had 1000s of pictures and some doujins of Saten. I began to spend what others called absurd amounts of money on merchandise, and my apartment is coated with Saten everywhere. I've shut myself off from family and friends and felt an urge to just snuggle with my Saten dolls. Saten is all I need. She probably wouldn't like the way my family is or how my friends behave. I'm in love with Saten. I keep praying that she'll come to see me one day and decide to live with me. I have nothing left to live for but Saten. I know she can hear me, so I always talk to her telling her to come and visit me so our union can take place. So this is where you guys come into the picture. You're an all-purpose advice board. You definitely must know a way to help Saten break free from behind her glass prison. Please help! She's my perfect girl, and she's longing for me as much as I long for her.

Lately, I've been starting to think they're okay. Honestly, I thought she was pretty boring in the few Railgun episodes I watched before I dropped it, but somehow, I've been able to appreciate her more after all these threads lately. I think maybe it's because /jp/ is so cold and hateful all the time, always with the insults and angry posts, telling people to get out or go to another place, and all that. But when I see a Saten thread, I see people who spread love, who speak of their own love for a person so they can spread the warm feelings to us, and encourages us to love too. It's.. surprisingly comforting...
